"We have nothing but praise for this hotel! The beds were incredibly comfy, the room was way more spacious than it looked in the picture, and it is super clean! The ‘make your own breakfast’ is really smart - no need to hurry in the mornings :) It’s family run, and they are so nice and helpful. Loved them! "It was a comfortable stash, however for being a new hotel, they could’ve had outlets next to the bed (on night stand) with USBC and USB connectors. Small fridge light is too bright at night time. WiFi info should be in the room or handed over after signing in. Calling the front desk, I was told to dial 100, after I asked. I called by dialing zero, which did not work. This could’ve been avoided if there were instructions in the room "

"I wish we had more time to stay here. It’s not a hotel, it’s an experience. Nothing like staying in a building over 700 years old. The views of the countryside were incredible. The service impeccable. Dining was great. We will absolutely return if we come back to Spain. "

"Great value and a good location if you’re wanting a little more space outside the confines of Mérida. Situated at a shopping area, you can walk to the big supermarket, and restaurants. Hotel a tiny bit dated (old shower tub in the bathroom) and the balcony would have been nice to have chairs, but the pool was unexpectedly quite nice, especially in the heat of the afternoon."
