The only not so good part was the food options because the restaurant on site does not open on sundays and for other options you need a car , public transportation is not accessible from the location unless you have the uber app

We stopped for the night on the way to the south of France. Very convenient location just off the motorway. Clean premises. Enclosed parking lot is a plus given lots of people stop on the way with cars full of luggage that are obvious targets for break-in’s. This is a US motel style property. All the rooms have one large window that faces the outdoor corridor used to access the rooms. There is an electric rolling metallic shutter to make the room dark at night. The shutter in the room we stayed in was inoperative and stuck half open. As a result the room was lit through the night by the parking lot lights and then the light of dawn. We notified staff at breakfast, who just said thank you for letting us know, we will get it fixed.

restauration et communication laissent à désirer

Premier point désagréable : la carte du restaurant très minimaliste pour un Campanile. Je commande un fish and chips, le poisson est cru à l'intérieur, ma compagne commande un poulet au curry, immangeable le poulet dur et sec comme du bois ainsi que la sauce où le dosage des épices avait sans doute été un peu "exagéré". Je tiens néanmoins à souligner la gentillesse et l'amabilité de la serveuse, qui essaya de réparer du mieux qu'elle pouvait l'incompétence du cuisinier. Deuxième point, réveil à 6h du matin par l'alarme incendie. Tout le monde évacue dans le calme, les pompiers arrivent, une odeur de brulé est perceptible mais aucun danger ne parait imminent. La règle veut qu'en pareil cas, une fois l'alerte levée ou le problème réglé une communication soit faite aux personnes pour les informer de la levée de l'alerte et le retour possible dans les chambres. Alors que la plupart des gens étaient présents dans la salle du restaurant prenant le petit déjeuner (parfois en pyjama :o)) en attendant des nouvelles. De ces procédures règlementaires classiques en pareil cas, rien n'a été respecté, chacun a été livré à lui même sans la moindre information. Que dire de la communication totalement inexistante de la part de la direction de l'hotel (apparemment absente). Aucune info, aucune explication...

Très bon séjour, chambre confortable mais un petit peu petite. Geste eco responsable qui manque: ne pas changer les serviettes de toilettes tous les jours, comme cela se fait dans beaucoup d’établissements. Il manque aussi un petit coffre si on a des objets de valeur.
