"Large room with really comfortable large beds. Hotel is well located for old town just a short walk away through a park. Receptionists and staff were all friendly and helpful. Hotel has a lovely cosy bar which wasn't expensive. Nice Restaurants and bars close by if you don't want to use the old town. Underground car parking is a bit tight but manageable"

"hotel easy to find, 2 minutes from the railway station, and 10 minutes to the beach and promenade. Great location. check in was efficient but time consuming, if you get the chance to check in online, do it room quite spacious, large bathroom with 2 sinks, nice shower and toiletries, plus a safe. There were only 6 coat hangers in the wardrobe so we asked for some more, as we were had a lot of luggage, they eventually arrived after a couple of reminders. staff all pleasant and helpful Breakfast room on -1, large room with a great selection of produce, especially fresh fruit, plus a good assortment of cheese, meats and bread products, plus some hot food, all told very good. the Spa to be honest is a bit of a faff, first you need to make a booking at reception for a specific time, then make sure you have your costume (obviously), swimming cap, flip flops, and towel. we used our room towels as there are no others provided. Next you have to report to reception 5 minutes before your allotted time where you are given a key to the pool area. The pool is located on floor -3, but there is no signage to point you there, we literally found it after discounting floors -1 and -2. Once inside the pool area there are 2 pools, a small oblong pool for swimming, and anirger with water jets for relaxation. The swimming pool I thought was rather cold, so we gave that a miss, but the jacuzzi pool was ok, although the edge of this pool is rough concrete, so you can't really relax."

"My husband and I have stayed in another Eurostars Hotel (in Berlin), which we quite liked, but the one in Oviedo, in a historic hospital building, is really quite superb. From the gracious and dignified architecture to the spacious room (with a sofa!) to the wonderful breakfast, we enjoyed our nights there very much."

"It's a perfectly nice small hotel with a good restaurant & wonderful breakfast. Large comfortable, well-equipped room and bathroom. What slightly let it down for me was that it doesn't quite have all the amenities listed - or it's complicated! The website says bike hire on site but actually they do not have bikes on site - you'd have to book via a different company who deliver the bikes etc... not straight-forward. More geared towards serious cyclists with their own bike. But that wasn't clear. Think I also saw somewhere about care hire on site - I was told no, I'd have to pick the car up in Gijon. (However may have mis-read that). There isn't a snack bar really, only food from the restaurant menu. The hotel is not walking distance to any proper shop or cafe so I found it inconvenient to have absolutely no snacks or small plates like a tostada available on site, you always have to order an expensive plate from the restaurant. Not even fruit, muesli bars, nuts, something like that, which would make sense when the hotel is geared towards sport and exercise; and on the other hand towards business guests. These are small annoyances I know - otherwise a good convenient hotel with great cycling and walking routes from the door."
