"My friends and I had an amazing stay at this lovely house. Especially the outdoor area was beautiful and the pool was great! The house is just a 10 minute drive from a lovely town and shops for groceries. The hosts even organised for us to go horse-riding at their horse riding school which was a great experience. Overall, we loved our stay and had the great time. Eloïse and her father were a great help when we needed it and they were such lovely people!"

"A ten minute stroll along a pleasant street takes you to the bridge. Cross it and you are at the foot of the delightful town of Blois. There are two small supermarkets on the street, and lovely walks along the river so east to spend days without driving anywhere. Also many, many beautiful towns and chateaux to visit within an hour's drive. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable. We would not hesitate to recommend."

"Precious little farmhouse in a village not far from Blois. Marie-Claire and Marie-Claude were both very attentive and gracious hosts. Upkeep of the house could have been a little better but considering it is a 400+ year old house it was quite pleasant. It would be nice if the history of the house was posted somewhere. "This is a very classily converted old property with spacious rooms and flexible outdoor areas, beautifully planted. Lovely comfortable beds. The skies are incredibly dark for star-gazing, there is a lovely park in the grounds of the local chateau and although there is no bar in the village there is a good bread shop and a very nice restaurant (La Croix Verte). Amboise is only 5 mins drive away. We were there for the phenomenal Bastille Day fireworks."

"Nice place right off the freeway. Good stay. Only complaint was the bed. Hard as a rock, and it squeeked hard like a donkey every time you moved. It was so loud and kept us awake much of the night. Staff were great and very helpful. I think we just got the bad room/bed. We would stay there again. "
