"Lovely hotel built into three adjoining buildings, which required a bit of exploration to find my room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Probably due to the age of the property and the nature of the building, the walls between rooms are quite thin and I could hear my neighbours moving and talking very clearly. I would still stay here again as it’s very conveniently located for exploring the city and for good public transport access."

"The staff were warm and friendly. Unfortunately the rooms are getting very tired. The shower has visible mould in the grouting, as did the shower head. The towels were thin and smelled dusty. Some simple updates like refreshing the towels and changing shower heads would be welcome improvements."

"Easy checking in and out. Kind, polite and helpful staff. Decent hotel, near public transport and tourist attractions. My room was a bit noisy early in the morning/night due to deliveries to the businesses around. It was ok as it was in Winter, but in warmer times, could be a problem. Breakfast was fine, although quite basic. Hotel is an old building but it was clean. "

"The location was perfect for crossing the bridges over the Rhône and to dine out. It was just a 20-minute walk to the funicular to ride up to the Notre-Dame de Fourvière Cathedral for a view of Lyon and to see the Roman ruins. The bed was big and super comfortable. Great place to relax."
