"Rustic home with beautiful antique decor and furnishings from previous generations. Well equipped kitchen, utensils, dishes, pots/pans galore, nothing missing to make you feel at home. "This must be our 10 th visit over the years I love bringing friends here. The look on their faces as you enter the walls to reveal this gem of a hotel Brilliant check in with friendly staff . We were hot and sticky being 37.c The large pool was open and welcoming The rooms clean and well equipped . Just one of our party had a plumbing issue with the shower Breakfast was beautiful with loads of fresh fruits and yoghurts . Plus hot food if you wanted . Staff very friendly On our second night we ate the restaurant in the hotel. Although very busy with a large group the staff were great and one of the best meals was had by all. Our group of seven throughly enjoyed the hotel has many antique artifacts as is like a living museum Will be staying again next year "

Attractive little house in a lovely traditional village

"The house was very clean and spacious, warm and comfortable, with a real log fire to complement the central heating. Our host Paula, a lovely lady, was an excellent host and very helpful, especially when Portugal was affected by a major power outage - she responded with torches, candles, warm soup, heating up a meal for us and a vacuum flask of hot water! We spent a fortnight exploring the Montesinho trails on foot and bike, and enjoyed it immensely. Rural northern Portugal at its best."
