"Our first room didn’t have a sofa/chaise/chair - as was advertised - other than the desk chair and so we requested a room change. We then went to dinner and walked around the harbor area. Upon our return, we realized that there weren’t any wall outlets or lamp outlets/usb ports on one side of the bed. We phoned the front desk and a kind maintenance worker brought an extension cord so I could charge my phone and iPad before an early morning flight. Although there were deficiencies, the staff were kind and worked toward resolutions - however at $176/night, it seems that there needs to be more attention to detail. Also, the train is very close and noisy, so request a room on the other side of the hotel. On the plus side, the bed was comfy and the bathroom spotless. "

"Extremely loud outside environment. The train changes engines and couples/uncouples loudly all night. The bar is super loud and the club has a line to get in on Saturday nights that is loud until at least 2am. Then no hot water on last day of my stay. "

"Great location, right in the middle of little Italy, clean and awesome environment. Bed was comfortable and the balcony was amazing especially to see the sun rise 😌 "

"It was for pleasure. The room was clean the bed was good. The price point and location were excellent. I could not see the bay from my room and did not use the pool. "

"It was 15 mins from the airport. Very convenient to go to Pacific Beach, and La Jolla part of town. The rooms were nice comfortable mattresses and clean. I wish this hotel served coffee in the morning, considering it is a boutique hotel or hot cookies in the evening. I would stay here again."

"Very disappointed with this stay. While the location is central to downtown SD, that was really the only upside of the stay. The room, on face value, looks okay. However, the AC did nothing to keep the room cool. It was difficult to sleep due to the temp in the room. Moreover, there were several cockroaches in the room #405. The shower is missing a door so all the water just spills out onto the floor. I wasn’t expecting much, but this was disappointing to say the least. "

"Even though our room was clean, our bed still had black ants crawling atop of it. Disappointing."
