Beautiful home that is perfect for a family get together. Rooms are spacious and easily accommodate larger groups. Host Jimmy is very responsive and helpful. This place has everything that you need for a wonderful family gathering. Why stay in 4-5 hotel rooms when you can visit and enjoy the reason you are on vacation together. This house has so much more than the nicest hotel has to offer! Our family was in town for our daughters’s wedding and the family room, kitchen, game room and spa couldn’t have been more perfect. I encourage you to make memories in this beautiful home— we did!!

Excellent multi-family house

We really enjoyed our stay! We had four families share the house for a long weekend. The kids loved the pool and the garage game room. The kitchen was great for cooking large meals. We would definitely come back.

Dad’s 80th bday family vacation

It was a perfect place for a home away from home celebration of our Dad. Plenty of beds, plenty of bathrooms, plenty of fun! Pool, game room, hot tub is a little on the warm side so we didn’t let little kiddo in too much. And we had doggos. The yard is perfect and included a dog run bonus! We would stay again!

Most incredible place in San Diego

We had the most incredible visit with our closest family and friends at the Chateau Vista. The owner's were incredibly flexible with our requests and communication was always excellent. What an inviting neighborhood, what an extraordinary house, what an amazing view! We are beyond grateful to Jimmy and Michael for sharing the Chateau Vista with us. We had the most magical time during our stay and our memories will last a lifetime.

Amazing stay for family reunion

We had a wonderful stay here for our family reunion in July. The pool was wonderful! Our kids and their cousins had a wonderful time. The solar heating for the pool was excellent and plenty warm in July. The property was well cared for and clean. An amazing feature was the tankless water heater, endless hot water when we were all showering after swimming. Michael and Jimmy were extremely responsive during our stay. We would stay here again on a trip to San Diego. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Excellent Family Home

We had five families share this house and it was absolutely perfect. Starting out the communication was excellent and all information provided to make check in so smooth it felt like we were just at a home away from home. The neighborhood feels safe and the house is welcoming and open. Parking fit 5 mid size cars easily. Our kids were in their swim suits before we had a chance to open our suit cases. The ease of preparing food and sharing family time was great. It had something for everyone and we will be back. We had infants to adults, and each enjoyed their time. Our family has already asked to rent this again next summer and make this a regular family vacation. Thank you hosts for making this spot easy to enjoy! We will be back!

Great!

Everything was better or as advertised! As a particular plus, the property managers were extremely responsive. We would absolutely stay at this property again. The only hiccup was that we were unable to heat the pool in time for our use - this was no one's fault though - the property manager tried to heat it but needed the wifi/the wifi was out when he tried to start heating it a day in advance. We were at a wedding when he reached out about the wifi (which just needed a reset) so it was a little too late to heat the pool by the time we responded to his message. All good though!

Wonderful Experience!

We booked this property for a family gathering, and it was exactly what we were looking for! The communication from the host was very clear, polite, and helpful. They were always available if we had questions, were very accommodating, and got back to us promptly. The check-in process was easy and straightforward! The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The house itself had a great view. The driveway had plenty of room to park multiple cars. The front and back lawns were really nice. The backyard was spacious including the pool, and looked really lovely. The inside of the house was great, with a big kitchen and multiple places to sit, eat, and lounge. The rooms were very comfortable and had plenty of space for our family. Overall, we enjoyed how beautiful, clean, and spacious the property was. Would definitely recommend it to others and would return to stay again!

This house was perfect for our family Thanksgiving away from home. The pool and pool table entertained the kids and the hot tub and patio was the perfect hang out space for the adults. The large open kitchen made it easy to make large family dinners and enjoy meals together. Couldn't have asked for a better place, thank you!!

The house is great! We thought the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. We stayed as a large extended family for a wedding get together (near by), so we didn't do any cooking, but it was nice to all fit in the house and hang out together in the evenings.

Very nice home, hosts were very communicative. There was a mix up with check in times and cleaners still being there. Some amenities are not available that are shown in pictures. Shower door was broken. The hot tub bubble/heater feature is controlled remotely by them, so that is a little annoying to have to message them to turn it on. The house shows some sings of aging but if you don’t mind some minor wear and tear, it’s a very quiet spacious property that you and your family will enjoy. The beds were very very comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied.

This spacious house is beyond amazing. It is exceptionally clean and well stocked to make your stay fee like you are at home! It was home to our family of 16 for 4 nights. It was magical at moments. Plenty of room for every one of us. The host was so attentive. They provided constant information and answers to our questions within moments. The small deficiencies were dealt with immediately. I would highly recommend this VRBO.

Great size and Location

The communication with property owner was fantastic. They even went out and bought a crockpot for us before we got there. Our requests were answered quickly. The location is amazing. Just 20 minutes from the beach and halfway between LA and San Diego. The kids room upstairs has plenty of beds for the little ones, and it worked great for us. Wonderful stay!
