About this property

Vista Village Retreat

  • Located in downtown Vista, this 1950's 2 bedroom 1 bath house is the perfect Home Away From Home. It has a warm cabin feel with some modern updates. There is a large outdoor area for grilling and relaxing. It is private and quiet but also close to lots of shopping, theaters, restaurants, breweries (all walking distance), and only 7 miles from the beach.

    This is not a full time vacation rental and is not "IKEA" in its design and decor. This is our winter home but during the rest of the year, when we go back to New York to work, we rent this house to others. We remove our "personal" items so you won't feel like it is anything but your space. It is older and funky and has a great feel and vibe. It is 850 s.f. of cozy cottage/cabin. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, etc. There is space for 3 cars to park (carport and driveway). The patio or porch is a great place to enjoy the garden and view.
