"Great place. "

"Gorgeous lodge, inside and out. Wonderful patio!"

"Staff are friendly & helpful "

"since i'm coming from kota kinabalu first, i called and asked the hotel staff where should i get off, when i get to Kundasang. they told me to get off at kinabalu park entrance which is you have to walk back for 25 minutes (they didn't tell me first). the rain is so heavy, i tried to call them again because i cant find a taxi. but they just put me on voice call.. when i get to the hotel, i told them about the incident and they just laugh it off. i told them, that its not funny, and well they...

"I love how the place has some spot for viewing the Kinabalu mountain. The place is quiet and the room is great. "

"You can see Mt Kinabalu right infront of the property, so clear and wonderful sight."

"Die Lodge bot ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sie war sauber, ohne Schnickschnack und ohne besonderen Luxus! Dafür mitten in der Teeplantage, und himmlisch ruhig! "

"Clean roon good location"

"The room is very clean and as advertised. Had a great night sleep here."

"The hotel is within walking distance of DMK but a little quirky. There are dining options nearby."

"The view is superb. Very direct magnificent view of Mount Kinabalu. But the aceess into the resort (2km) is not proper tar road. The room is basic with all the necessary amenities and clean. Comfortable stay. The staff is friendly & helpful. They are very oblige to all your needs /request. Thank you."

"Nice views from room "

"Staying up in the mountains, you have to accept that you will have insect visitors come in your room. The host gave us a spray to help the insects leave. The host kept our room clean and gave fresh towels. They helped us build our itinerary. I had to have some milk and food for my young kids and they let me use their fridge. Dog was friendly."

"Beautiful hotel and view"

"Most beautiful view on roof top. Toilet needs to be updated. Smell pretty bad. "

"Booked for Queen Bed Room at ground floor for RM239 (before discount). Few times stay at Rose Cabin since 2004. But this time too much difference...a bit run down. It's over priced for the facilities provided. Even spacious room, but no TV, no fan (so stuffy), toilet inside the room with no toiletries, bathroom (hot shower) is outside of the room at the veranda (no privacy) with very little all in one shampoo. Nothing much to do here. Check in/out counter only open from 8am till 8pm. After that...

"Very nice and peaceful mountain views. Each room was an individual little wooden house, too."

"friendly staff... "
