"We had a great stay at argovia the, cabins are clean and beautiful. The staff was very nice and always accomodating. There were not as many flowers in bloom this time of year, but what they did have was beautiful! We loved all the food and coffee we had while it, it was an amazing place."

"This was a "work" trip to visit the coffee farm and get information on importing green coffee. The cottages were very clean and equiped with everything you could need for your stay. The staff didn't speak any English which was a little bit of a barrier since we didn't speak Spanish, but with the help of google translate it worked. We had a tour of the farm from one of the owners who was very kind and informative. The food was good and staff was attentive. The spa was beautiful and relaxing, we...

"Great staff and clean, but structural issues and poor AC made for a tough stay
I really wanted to give this place a higher rating because the staff here is absolutely wonderful—very attentive, welcoming, and quick to help. On top of that, the hotel looks clean and well-maintained, and the bed was perfectly okay for a decent night's sleep.
Unfortunately, the building itself and the room amenities fell short. The biggest issue was the AC unit in our room, which was not working properly and struggled to keep the space at a comfortable temperature. Additionally, be prepared for some walking: there is no elevator, and the hallways are incredibly long to get to your room, which is a major hassle if you have heavy luggage. Lastly, the room was missing basic comforts, as there were not that many toiletries available.
It’s a clean property with great people, but the lack of an elevator, a weak AC, and bare-minimum amenities made it hard to fully enjoy the stay."
"There was no transportation from the front desk to the cabin (Guayabo) very difficult to walk to it and back with my luggage.
I was told by front desk staff there was a charge for using the swimming pool.
Place is beautiful and peaceful"
"air conditioner was sufficient. hot water was hit and miss . luke warm at best often cool .
Front desk was excellent, always helpful
Cleaning staff excellent, honest and courteous.
Restaurant was excellent "

We had a tour of the farm from one of the owners who was very kind and informative. The food was good and staff was attentive. The spa was beautiful and relaxing, we had very nice massages, the pools were very clean, there was someone out there cleaning them every morning. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. It is a little harder to get here, we used a taxi service who also had a driver that didn't speak english and wanted more money then was agreed upon, this was the only negative as we were just arriving, after a day of traveling and 2 hour drive to get here. The staff made sure we had dinner and delivered it to our room.

"The hotel is nice and the staff were very accommodating and polite. The street the hotel is on is just OK and there’s not a lot of places to eat that are close. The downtown area is a 10 minute walk so if you don’t mind walking, it’s good otherwise it’s a good value"
