Top Volcano Hotel Reviews

Lokahi Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"Perfect stay!!"

Kilauea Lodge and Restaurant

10/10 Excellent

"Beautifully maintained property. Large rooms and perfectly prepared. Don't miss the hot tub. A nice soak out in nature with all the soothing sounds. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful! Going beyond the necessary. I stayed through a passing hurricane and they made certain i was well prepared for any potential problems and even prepared a meal in advance just in case, no charge. I highly recommend the lodge and thankfull to all the folks there!"

Chalet Kilauea

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is more like a rental house than typical hotel. There are only eight or so rooms and each one has nice views with privacy. There is no staff on site but you can contact them is needed. I would stay here again. One thing to consider, you are 30 minutes from most services. If you don’t mind that and want something quiet this is a great option."

Romantic Tree Cottage in the Rainforest

10/10 Excellent

"The flora and fauna surrounding the unit is amazing. I took at least 25 pictures to savor the memories of the beauty. The unit is tiny but we were more than willing to spend a few nights in a small space in order to enjoy the beauty all around us. The shower was excellent. The outdoor sitting space was an enjoyable extra.Would highly recommend."

The Pacifica Inn

10/10 Excellent

"The owners (different than the host) are the best! They made sure that we have everything we need to make our stay comfortable and stress-free as our house in Ka’u was damaged by Hurricane Lala. The Nene Room was beautiful, clean and peaceful with its large picture window overlooking the serene forest. We also stayed in Gecko room that has one bedroom, living room, and kitchen. The Gecko room is comfortable and perfect for family and longer stays. The surrounding is quiet and close to stores, restaurants, and very close proximity to Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park."
