"We had a wonderful stay at The Jungalow! The property was perfectly located, close to the Volcano National Park and in a lovely neighborhood. The house itself was immaculate and very cozy. My entire family loved it. We were sad to only stay one night, if we make it back we would absolutely stay there for longer. Highly recommend The Jungalow!!"

"We really enjoyed the rainforest retreat. We had a lot of rain so didnt get to enjoy the outside as much as we would have liked. House had all of the amenities you would ever need. Only complaint is the center cushion in the couch was broken, but there were 2 other comfortable chairs to sit in."

"It was such a treat for our family of four to stay at this home. The house is absolutely lovely! Plenty of space for all of us, so many wonderful outdoor spaces to use. The view is stunning! We never got tired of it. Easy walk to a beach nearby, and the perfect hub for several day and half day trips. The owner is wonderful! So friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. We hope to be back soon!"

As usual, there were a couple of arrival difficulties, but the host quickly took care of those. The house is beautiful. We were able to walk to the point and watch the waves and even some whales. They also made great suggestions about restaurants and supermarkets in the area."

"Our family of four (two adults, two boys, 5 & 8) stayed here for 3 nights to explore the east side of the Big Island. We loved it! If you are a nature lover, you should definitely stay here. Every night, we played cards in the screened in porch and listened to the music of the frogs, birds, and other critters (truly special - you need to experience it yourself!). "no soap in the showers or bathrooms but the host was very nice we didn't ask for anything some things were broken like the BBQ , pillows sheets and bedding were worn out. Once again the host couldn't be nicer and felt she did all she could."

"Everything about our stay was wonderful. Our hosts made a great effort to provide all the amenities that would make our stay easy and enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed the secluded location, the birdsong, and the geckos and other wildlife that visited from time to time. The location was also convenient for trips north to the beach and south to the volcanos. Should we make it back to the big island, we would happily stay at this same property."

"Loved our stay at this lovely cottage set on 9 beautiful acres. It felt like we were actually guests of the original plantation house. Stayed for thirteen nights, and were joined by our daughter for five nights. Plenty of room for the three of us. Favorite times were morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on the veranda. Easy drive to both Hilo and Volcano, and Foodland grocery is a mile away. Highly recommend."

"The property is nestled away from traffic yet close to the water. The apartment has ample space for three generations, as was our situation. Beds were comfortable. Food prep was easy. Snorkel supplies were available. We did not want. Catherine and Anna were available to assist as needed with dining recommendations, beaches and anything else."

"Amazing location for Volcano National Park. We loved this house but we were hardly there! We booked two nights but explored on our road trip there so much that we got there late. Then the next day we hiked 8 miles in The park. It was great to come back to that hot tub. The house is gorgeous and worked great for our family of four adults. Wish we had more time here. So peaceful!"
