"Lovely old world hotel (completely renovated) across the road from the beach. Used the indoor pool but the balcony outside had only a few chairs and very little room. Our room had a nice sized balcony with a water view but the room (213) was very small with a few design flaws that made it crowded for two. Bathroom very small. Excellent breakfast and good service. Parking was limited but we had a spot for our 4 night stay and surprisingly they didn’t charge us. Disappointed that a 5 star hotel (above $500CAD per night in Sept) wouldn’t include beach chairs. We paid 30Euros each day to have two chairs on the beach. Lots of good dining and shops in walking distance. Clean, good air conditioning and fairly quiet. Bit of noise from the beach bar across the road but it finished at midnight. Overall a very good stay in a great location. "

"The staff are warm and welcoming and every inch of the hotel is immaculate. The proximity to the gorgeous beach and the fascinating old town can't be beat. And the restaurant has fantastic meals and a very nice breakfast. Driving the car through a very narrow passthrough was a bit of a nail biter, but after that moment everything was free of stress. We want to go back and stay longer next time!"

The onsite restaurant provides a delicious breakfast (included) and dinner options. Thank you to Julie and the team for looking after us. The twins, Senat and Safet, are the highlights of Hotel Verbnicum. They make everyone's stay at the hotel so special and to quote them "nothing is problem"! And you must try the 'Twins Cocktail' while relaxing by the pool!"
