Book this property for the next MAGNOLIA , BAYLOR, event or any other event in the Waco area! Bring your pups too! This home is a total pleaser to all! It's in a beautiful area of Waco, close to Lake Waco, Extraco Event Center, Shopping, Eateries, Silos ,Baylor and etc. It s has been completely redone and updated and furnished to the max! You might even believe that Chip and Joanna might have had a part in this cute little gem, but contrary to belief, they did not! Although it has similar décor, me myself and I, took on this little task! This cutie has 3 bedrooms, and queen beds in two and a daybed with trundle that will sleep two as well. All beds are equipped with hypoallergenic mattress pads and memory foam gel toppers. There is hardwood floors throughout with beautiful accent rugs. The leather sofa in the living room also can divert to a queen bed too. There is a bath and a half, and nice new flat screen in every room! The Living room has a 50 inch flat screen! There is lots of newly refinished antiques throughout the house and some custom handmade furniture as well. Everything is new or newly redone! Everything is furnished except for you, your clothes and your toothbrush! You will love the backyard, complete with privacy fence , trees, covered wood deck, café lights, crushed granite pathways, and lots of perennials! There is pretty windchimes, birdbaths, birdfeeders to make this property the perfect birdwatching and relaxing haven! You will enjoy new and updated LED lighting throughout the house and in the backyard too. It has a new dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, blender, waffle iron, Two coffee makers including a KEURIG, etc. New Towels and Linens are also included. The house also has custom made wood lamps and even a natural made sculpture created from the dreaded FIRE ANTS! This is amazing! There is also a roll away bed if needed for an extra guest!

Cozy - great location

Thanksgiving Adventure in Waco

We had a wonderful stay at Debbie’s home over Thanksgiving! She was incredibly accommodating to our entire family and even made sure our little dog felt welcome. The backyard was a true highlight—an absolute oasis that provided the perfect space to relax and unwind. The home itself was just as cozy and inviting as described, making it feel like a home away from home. 10/10, we would definitely stay again. Thank you, Debbie, for making our stay so special!

Great getaway with my daughters

My three daughters and I met in TX for a girls weekend and had a great time and stay. The home was as advertised and had everything we needed. It is close to downtown Waco and close to good restaurants. One recommendation I would have would be to have a keyless entry into the house rather than a key (and the key box is broken, so I ended up keeping in on the car keychain throughout our stay). Overall and great stay!

Cozy urban getaway

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the communication with the host. Dwelling was comfy and clean. The only negatives were the listing stated hot tub and there was none and the backyard was not in an enjoyable condition.

Great location

It was easy to get to everything we wanted to visit. This home was the dirtiest I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve been staying in VRBO’s for years. Lots of cobwebs, dirt and dust in corners, some dishes had to be rewashed before using, there were washed towels still in washing machine and dirty dishes in dish washer. The backyard could also use some cleaning up. Patio was nice to sit on during our downtime. It’s decorated very nice

We enjoyed our stay ! We had everything we needed. We had trouble with the tv in the back bedroom & living room, internet connection problems. Other than that everything else was great! Wonderful host, very proactive.

Never Disappoints!

This is our third time staying at this property and we always enjoy it. There is a huge backyard for your dogs. The house welcoming and nicely decorated. The owner is available to answer any questions. Perfect for a trip to see your Baylor bear, explore the silos or any of the other fun activities in Waco!

Mountain View gem

We were in town to help my daughter and her family move into their new home just a few blocks away. We didn’t have much free time but enjoyed the cozy little home and yard at the end of a busy day. Great leather sofa and chair for watching a movie. We thought we would have our dogs with us but they stayed at the new house but the backyard/deck would have worked fine. Would stay again for sure.

Beautiful, cozy cottage

We rented this property primarily for the location, it was convenient to all of the spots where we had family events over one weekend. This is a charming 1950's cottage that has been lovingly renovated and tastefully decorated. It's small, but the beds are very comfy, and the kitchen is fully functional. The backyard is vast. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had, and graciously allowed a slightly earlier arrival time to accommodate our schedule.

Baylor weekend

I would rate a 4.5 if I the system let me. Fifteen minutes from university, so not far at all and an easy drive. The house was comfortable and had all the amenities needed. Plenty of room to stay with outdoor sitting when weather was nice. The only thing I would say was after the 1st day you could tell it is an older and a bit musky.

Location and stay was good, property need more cleaning and organizing, shower faucet back plate falling off I am sure causing water damage behind the tile, a lot of buildup on shower head. Very cute yard just need to be manicured even in this heat, kitchen need cabinets withglass shelves dusty. Just needs TLC...other than that we loved it.

The inside of the property is beautiful. The outside can use some work. The location is close to a lot of businesses, food places and grocery stores. I was disappointed in having to pay an extra fee for cleaning to bring my dog and then find dust bunnies and food wrappers under the bed. The location of the grocery store came in handy since we weren’t supplied paper towels or much toilet paper. Overall was okay.

Cute but not very clean

The property was cute but it was not very clean. Trash was left from prior stay, the coffee pot had used coffee grounds and the pot itself had crusty old coffee in it making it unusable. The day bed and couch had some sort of dirt/particles on it. For such a high cleaning fee I would expect it to be immaculate! I honestly feel like we left it cleaner than we found it. Also, one toilet would not easily flush and the one shower was not warm. Overall, it was a place to sleep one night but we will not stay here again. I have never left a bad vrbo review, but I have been lucky that I’ve never stayed in a dirty place before.

Enjoyed the Stay

The house was clean and the rooms were as expected. I brought my older parents with me that have some mobility issues. The tub was extremely slippery so I ended up getting a anti slip Matt for it. Also we couldn’t find towels to bath so I ended up purchasing that as well . The only thing I was disappointed in was the backyard. I expected a cute backyard from the picture but a tree had fallen and was still down crashed the covering so the yard was unusable. The front lawn hadn’t been cut in sometime either. A heads up on that would have been nice.
