Check in was okay. It’s self check in and no one to help with your bags, small elevator. Had difficulty with the pin getting into our room so staff helped us fix it. Upon entering, there were a lack of toiletries- no towels or extra set for our party of 3 were prepared so we had to ask. The place was clean. We put up the cleaning sign on our door but no staff came to clean our room our entire stay. The cafe is closed most of the time too. It was very Airbnb style and a bit difficult to get ahold of staff for any help. Only recommend for short stays.

"Nice big Hotel, Onsen (Fuaa) is main attraction and seems most of the guests go to enjoy that experience. Room were big and nice with a great see view. Towels were to small for american standards."

"Fantastic hotel, with friendly and helpful staff, the buffet breakfast and dinner have something for everyone. Would recommend not catching the train to Kowakidani, especially if you have luggage. Instead catch it to Chokokunomori station and then the S bus which will drop you off outside the hotel. ..."
