"For a budget stay The Oyo Marine Parade was not bad at all. The room was a small double but had an en-suite and was clean & tidy. The staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. When my husband was taken into hospital and I didn’t return until 3.30am the 24 hr receptionist got up to let me in with a welcoming smile and kindness, much needed after 9 hours in A & E! "Wow what a little gem of a hotel with restaurant. Room was amazing, modern, classic and Mediterranean feel in heart of a Kent village. If you get room 8 or 9 you won’t be disappointed. Restaurant food was top notch if a little pricy and the included breakfast was also lovely in quality and flavour. Would pick over a chain hotel any day especially as location has few choices for accommodation."

"Lovely home made cooked breakfast to order. We were in the suite room lovely living space, futon bed was a little uncomfortable but memory foam used so may just be us. Everywhere was very clean, nice tea and coffee, decor and a well laid out bathroom. Was quite noisy in the morning and could hear breakfast being laid and noise from upstairs bedroom with people walking around. Overal a lovely stay and very friendly owner. "

"Warm and frienly hosts ..with plenty of local knowledge . very clean with added thoughtfull additions ie alarm clock in bedroom hairdryer lovely shower and fridge ..well stocked tea and coffee ...comfortable bed .room small but enough room to get changed in and sleep added extra of sitting room for use during your stay ..fantastic choice for breakfast again added extras "

"Warm welcome from the owners who helped to carry our suitcase to the room. Room was very clean and comfortable. All amenities were there. Grateful for the tea, coffee and also bottled water. Very enjoyable breakfast the next day."

"On arrival I was given a room but there was no heating so it was very cold. The Manger happily moved me to another room with a heater in which was better. The room itself was clean and in good condition with plenty of tea/coffee. The mattress though was very hard, not comfortable at all and quite crunchy. The noise from outside was easily heard (which can't be helped I imagine) but still was a loud room to have. The staff were helpful and all in all for the price I paid I can't really...
