A cosy, private space set amongst mature gum trees & within walking distance to beautiful Lake Albert: a fantastic walking track (5.5km circut), recreational facilities such as fishing, boating & more.
The Gums is centrally located just 10 minutes from Wagga Wagga's CBD, to Kapooka Army Barracks (12 mins) or Forest Hill RAAF base (11 minutes) or 4 mins to Jubilee Oval.
Just a few minutes drive to Kooringal Mall where you'll find an ATM, Woolworths & other essentials. Lots of great coffee shops & eateries within walking distance or a short drive.
The Golf Club & Boat Club within minutes drive or easy walking distance.

The property has a warm homely feel with beautiful surrounds. Comfy beds and everything you would need for a family stay. Fenced area outside aswell as the opportunity to explore the beautiful gardens on the property. We will definitely staying again next time we are in the area.

Lovely cute place for short stay

We traveled to Wagga Wagga, a charming spot near the lake. It's a lovely, quiet place just a short drive from shops and local attractions. The area was very clean, and there was enough entertainment for our young kids.

Everything was very nice, the bed in particular was super comfortable. Very clean and tidy and communication with Heather was good. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. It was exactly what we needed.

Such a lovely accomodation for our recent trip to Wagga. Lovely location. Impeccably clean and very well appointed. You thought of everything, Heather! I even noted there was some toys and games provided for those with children. Hope to stay again.

Really cozy place and a warm welcome from Heather. A great place to rest and recoup. Highly recommended. Note: If you have not used the Vrbo app before, perhaps download and create an account before booking. I booked a couple of stays (including this one) before I created an account and none of my bookings were accessible in the app despite using the same email address. It was only a minor inconvenience but it meant that I was not able to respond to messages from hosts or leave positive feedback in the app which is a shame because this place was great!

Highly recommend The Gums. Host Heather's communcation was great from the time we booked, prior to stay, during and upon leaving the premises. Lovely cosy, warm home. The weather was cold so the gas heater was a wonderful extra. The home has all amenities you need and more. Beds were cosy and very comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. Definitely worth the money spent.
