"The overall appearance of the property was great! The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was appointed with standard hotel room fare, coffee machine, tv, fridge and ice machine near by. Bed was a bit soft for my liking however the sheets were fresh and clean. The bathroom had magnifying mirror- which is a MUST for my wife and the soaps were present. 2 misses for me- lack of caffeinated coffee… decaf? Really? And the water pressure…no kindling the pressure was so low it took minutes to rinse my hair… Overall great place, location just outside of the core and across the street from Natural Grocers. Will stay again!"

"Our stay was fantastic! Everything from the location, amenities, and views were above and beyond our expectations. The location on the water was perfect. Close enough to town to swing in if we needed something from the store but still far enough away to feel like a retreat. The sleeping arrangements and common spaces were very comfortable and spacious. We loved being able to fit all of us around the table for meals! Sunrise coffee on the upper deck was a highlight. We can’t wait for another chance to come back!"

"The Outpost lived up to the description! Lovely views from the deck, even more spectacular from the dock. The home was clean, comfortable, and roomy. Shout out to Kelly for the rapid response when we locked ourselves out!"
Diamond on the Lake - Waterfront Payette Lake home near downtown

"The Cabin was amazing, accommodating and access to the lake front beach was about as good as you could get. It was extremely close to downtown and Ponderosa State Park trails. The only issue was the neighbor's property was extremely close and the neighbors had motion-activated strobe/high pitched sound devices (with no trespassing signs) that were feet from the property's deck and prevented us from spending any time out there. Any motion on our deck tripped the devices to flash strobes and high pitched noise at us. If I were to book this property in the future I would want to ensure the devices would be disabled when you stay there. It was quite unpleasant anytime we were on the deck. Other than that, the property was fantastic."

"Property location was ideal. There are a couple of issues with the place that the owners could easily address to get a 5 star rating. 1. New couch in the living room. Existing one is comically old and bad. 2. Bed in main downstairs bedroom unreasonably squeaky and soft. We had to sleep in a different room and move our 7 year old into that one. 3. The roof upstairs was leaking. Seems like this was a known issue due to a jimmy rigged solution on the exterior but it wasn't working. Pkace is great but needs some investment."

"Wonderful little cabin! We were a group of six and there was plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The walk to the beach was very short, and the beach wasn't crowded at all during our stay. Huge plus with the kayaks and kids sand toys! Our only complaint was that the host was unresponsive during our stay. Luckily, we just had a couple silly questions about activities."
