Getting Around:

It's a 10-minute walk to Waihi Beach village and town centre from Pohutukawa Cottage. Waihi Beach is about a 20-minute walk, and the surf club (and flags) are a 5-minute drive from the house. Waihi township is about 9km away, roughly an 8–9 minute drive. Tauranga is around 40–45 minutes by car, and Mount Maunganui is similar, making both easy day-trip options.
