“Hicks Haven is a slice of paradise at Waikanae Beach, offering relaxation and easy access to a wide range of activities on the Kapiti coast. It will appeal to couples on a romantic break as well as those wanting to stay longer and enjoy the relaxed coastal vibe. Situated on an elevated site just a short stroll from the beach and river trails, this lovely studio offers an attractive escape. The living area opens onto a patio with outdoor seating where you can relax with a cup of coffee or glass of wine and enjoy views towards Kapiti Island. The compact but modern kitchen is well-equipped for those who like to cook, and the king-size bed will ensure a comfortable sleep.

Hicks Haven is a great base for exploring the coast by bike or on foot, swimming in the river or at the beach, enjoying the abundant birdlife in local lagoons and reserves, or simply soaking up the natural beauty of the area. The Kapiti coast is a cycling paradise, with a wide range of trails and cycle paths and numerous cafes to stop and refuel at along the way. There is ample off-street parking, and your bikes or paddleboards can be kept secure in the locked laundry shed. Whether seeking serenity or adventure, Hicks Haven is the perfect spot for a memorable stay on the coast.”

Very lovely modern home, well presented. Lovely and quiet location, not too far from the beach. Overall extemely happy witb our stay.
