"We had a wonderful stay at Mokino, the weather was beautiful and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out at the ocean, topped off with a gin and tonic!Long walks on the beach and nice yarn with a local,we felt super refreshed after our stay. "Fantastic property, comfortable, well equipped, peaceful, stunning views. It is remote so bring food and drinks for your stay. If lucky enough to be there on a Friday night the dinner at the boat club is a must. Great nearby attractions ie Waitomo glow worm caves, natural bridge and waterfall. "

"The stay was fantastic. Amazing scenery and really in the absolute middle of nowhere. Nearest town was around 40 minutes away which was perfect for us. Beautiful river right off the back door and mountains all around. A quick and easy drive to one of the black-sand beaches."
