"Onsite hosts Sam and Moreen were so wonderful! We got all the inside tips about Pacific Harbor from them including beach access, where to buy fresh fish and activities in the area. Moreen made me cassava so that I could learn to cook with it and Sam brought is fresh coconuts when we were by the beautiful (and huge) landscaped pool. "Overall, a very pleasant experience staying at Novotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, even offering late check out, uninitiated by me, at no extra cost. I would definitely pay the extra for the second floor rooms (deluxe room and above). The increase in price is relatively minor, and the privacy and views from your balcony is well worth it. I would be wary of the restaurant, however. I ordered pasta that had a broken, oily sauce, and a creme brulee that was obviously baked and not actually brulee (no crispy sugar crust which is, let's be honest, at least 50 percent of that dish), and the custard was lumpy. That being said, I was genuinely pleased with my experience and, if I ever end up in Fiji again, this will be my go-to hotel choice (I'll just order delivery from another establishment). Pros: Excellent, friendly service. Lovely view. Very quiet and serene. Nice pool and lounging decks Beautiful lobby, bar, and restraunt. Cons: Generally clean, but I did see a dead cockroach in the hallway that was there for both nights and all three of my days at the hotel. Makes me a bit concerned about general cleanliness. There were a couple of broken things in the room, but nothing I couldn't live with. The food is suspect. I wouldn't order anything beyond basic sandwiches and such."

"The resort was so laid back and relaxing. We were treated like family by the staff. Their breakfast buffet was excellent and other meals at the restaurants were also very good. We both had massages at their spa and highly recommend it. We had an issue with our rental car not starting, and 3 of the employees went out of their way to make sure that we got it resolved. Overall, we highly recommend staying at this beautiful resort. The grounds and vegetation are gorgeous, including a beautiful Lilly pond by the spa."

"The staff was always friendly and engaging but the service wise at the bars and restaurants was slow. It takes ages before they will reach out and offer a drink or food menu. The hotel doesnt provide any tours and doesn’t collaborate with the travel agencies to offer such services. They dont have any entertainment either, it feels like you stay in the retirement community. 🙃 It is centrally located within the walking distance to the major institutions and downtown area."
