"Large room, very spacious. aircon was positioned great for sleeping as it was not pointing straight down on you. Plenty of parking. Staff were great. Kitchen well stocked with plenty of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc. Would definitely stay again. "

"Stayed in Front Villa. Excellent staff. Amazing layout with separate living room, kitchen, bedroom c/w ensuite and entrance hall. No a/c but room fans worked. I highly recommend staying there. "

"Motel was new. Room was very clean and was stylish. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was equipped with kettle, microwave, mugs, crockery and cutlery. Parking adjacent to the room. A short walk to restaurants and the centre of Whakatane. Wifi fast. I didn't try the TV which had lots of channels. A table to work from. Aircon. Bed large and comfortable. Everything was there. Excellent. "

"What a wonderful place, so glad we were able to stay at Bloom Bach. If you're looking for a quiet place with great views amongst the flowers and birds this is the place. Renovated to a high standard and modern. I am in an electric wheelchair and Melanie has created an exceptional place for a mobility person. From the easy access, wide ramps, wide doors, exceptional mobility bathroom, it cant be faulted. I wish I had this place as my actual home. Melanie is real personable owner and very welcoming. It is so hard to find a place for mobility person, this is the only place I've found in five years. We will be booking again, Thanks."

"Good communication to check our arrival time as we didn’t realise check-in closed at 6.30 pm on this particular day, instead of 8pm. The room was clean, comfortable, roomy & we enjoyed the spa bath. The only mini gripe (which I forgot to mention to them) was there was no milk for a cuppa. There was nowhere close by open to buy milk at that time of night. Aside from that, I would stay again."

"Diane was a lovely host. Great and clear communication, beautiful and serene views. Very tidy and has all the basics one needs for a getaway. Hearing the bird life and seeing the birdlife, being nearby beaches and rivers was a plus. Will definitely be back. Thanks Diane :)"
