A great cost-effective alternative to Ohakune if driving north for a day skiing. The rooms, although a little dated are clean and well equipped, and appear to be being gradually modernised over time. Staff are helpful and friendly.

A great place to stay if you're just looking for a place to sleep, or if you're on a budget. The room was pretty dated, but still clean and tidy and that's all we wanted. The owners were lovely and so was the motel cat, who made himself at home with us during our stay.
