"We were a group of 10 and we were so impressed at how wonderful the staff and accommodations were. Rooms were so comfortable and having laundry available was a real plus! The staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. They have a great introductory book for the area in each room. If we pass this way again we will stay here❤️"

"This is a magical spot in Penny's incredible gardens! Even on soggy winter days, we enjoyed wandering the property, and the fire kept us toasty warm in the cottage. Our family enjoyed the thoughtful touches, tea/coffee and basics for cooking (oil, condiments). We loved having so much space to stretch out, and the comfy beds. The shower was unfortunately a piddle, extremely unsatisfying and took ages ages to rinse off. The place could have used a bit more of a thorough clean (especially bathroom and the drawers/floors in the bedrooms), but overall, it was fantastic value, warm and inviting, and a peaceful escape. We enjoyed talking to Penny, and reading about the history of the property. Hopefully we'll be back!"
