"This cabin feels like you stepped back into a 1950s lake vacation. The house/cabin seems to have been built in the late 30s to early 40s. The property is amazing and could only have all of the stone work and docks with generations of landscaping. It was truely an amazing yard with a super cool fire pit, sand volleyball court and even a bit of a gradual drop into the lake that would feel safe with littlier children. We had one of the best family days outside playing croquet, badminton and kayaking. It was idyllic. One important note the second bathroom is in the laundry area off the screened porch and is very small, part of the house being built so long ago. Also, the rooms are small so don't plan to put kids on the floor in the rooms. Again this is a historic house so it comes with historical home charms. This wasn't a big issue for us though because there were only 5 of us. Like all the reviews said just because it is a historic home didn't mean it wasn't clean. The house was exceptionally clean. We would definitely recommend this house."
Perfect Lake Getaway-6 Bedrooms, Ideal Location and Never Ending Views

"This was our second stay at Perfect Lake Getaway. Curt is a great host, very responsive and really wants your getaway to be perfect. His house is beautiful and very comfortable, while awake and for sleeping. The dock is especially nice. We enjoyed laying on the floating dock at night, looking at the stars our first night and then on the floating LilyPad most of the day Sunday. We brought our own inflatable paddle boards and felt very safe in the water in their sweet little cove. We even made friends with the across the water neighbors as we just hung out floating in the beautifully calm water. The views are amazing and we wished we had longer to just relax and recharge! We will definitely be back!!"

"My wife and I had a fantastic stay at the property this past weekend. The home was clean, comfortable, and clearly very well cared for, which made settling in effortless. The deck was a standout feature—spacious, relaxing, and perfect for taking in the lake. Beautiful views from sunrise to sunset. I recommend the lake house for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway."

"Wow! This was an amazing stay! The hosts were extremely accommodating regarding flexible check in and check out times — which was such a game changer for us. Chris responded so quickly and was so kind. The house was amazing! Lake views were so dreamy. Would recommend this house to everyone!"

"We have stayed at Summer Haven for several years with our closest friends. It is a beautiful property including a small beach. We enjoy bringing our 20 ft. Boston Whaler to roam around & float in the lake. The porches are great! Highly recommend."

"Absolutely lovely home on the lake. You can tell that it's a cared for and loved home with everything you could possibly need. Everyone was comfortable and plenty of room for all. In my opinion it's located on the best part of the lake. We will be back."

"Our family has enjoyed this home for several vacation stays. My husband and I take our children and grandchildren yearly and the house is absolutely ideal for a family trip-plenty of bedrooms (each with its own spacious bath) and so many spots to sit together for talking, snacking, etc. The owners designed a wonderful, open, light-filled space for separate conversations, a place to play games, a large dining table (with a water view!), and a wonderful screen porch as well as a spacious deck. We love the ease of walking down the yard to the large dock where there is plenty of area for water fun. The home is on a cove so boat traffic is minimal and waves don't disturb the peace or safety with the children. We put up a small game day type tent on the dock for shade that works well. The kitchen is well stocked with most anything guests need. (Plenty of dinnerware, silverware, glassware, appliances, and bakeware). The kitchen bar is a fantastic, open area for meal prep and stools are ideal for anyone to sit and eat or the grands to color. We appreciate the large grill on the deck for lots of meals. We do have to purchase ice almost daily though. The refrigerator ice maker can't keep up with the demand of a group. We just take an extra cooler to keep ice for drinking. The hosts are so congenial and easily available for any questions. Your family will love this lake spot. It's deserving a of high rating. We look forward to our next stay in this VRBO highlight."
