"Everything was great, however we had a few minor moans for the managers to consider. A 9.30am check out seems very early when you have 12 people to get organised and a house to tidy. I have never had a house that was before 10. Also nothing is open at 9.30 so we all went home rather than use local amenities. The backdoor main lock was falling off its hinges. "This was the perfect place for a family get-together. All the bedrooms are lovely and the lounge/dining areas are perfect for such a large group. The property is extremely well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. Every room is perfectly and evenly heated in the colder weather and wood-burning stoves add a lovely focal point. "Fantastic stay in the Hatfield Lodge Room 2 was great, spacious, quiet, clean. The shower room was lovely large, i feel it maybe a cleaning product used but it seem to leave the floor very slippery and the shower could do with some anti slip texturing on the tray and a handrail for safety. Only down side needs plugs next to the bed. Apart from those points would happily stay again. "

"Check in was super easy and quick, the lady on reception was very informative and polite! The room was clean and had a balcony and terrace which was lovely. We ordered room service and that came swiftly and was good for the price. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Check out was also smooth and speedy. Great hotel!!"

All good except !

"Nice room very clean staff pleasant but bar area in need of a bit of love snd attention. Breakfast very good but placement of things s bit odd. Why is the butter with the fresh fruit section and not by the toaster and bread and jams !? Also tea making area very congested and when busy you have to wait a very long time to access the hot water/ coffee machine. "
