  • The young and modern furnished vacation home Hof Schäfer is located in Waldeck and offers everything you need for a cozy vacation. The vacation home consists of two apartments on two floors with separate entrances and can accommodate 8 people. The accommodation is therefore ideal for two families who want to spend the day together and retreat in the evening.



    The two apartments each have an open kitchen with everything you need to cook. The living room with a comfortable sofa and TV is directly adjacent to the dining area. The master bedrooms of both apartments are furnished with a double bed and a closet. Each apartment has a further bedroom with two high-quality single beds and a closet. Each apartment also has a bathroom. In addition to a toilet and urinal, each bathroom has a bathtub with an extra shower to refresh yourself after an eventful day or to relax with a bubble bath. This vacation home has a private outdoor area, a barbecue and a total of 4 balconies.



    Those traveling with bicycles can store them in a lockable bicycle shed. E-bikes can be charged free of charge so that nothing stands in the way of exploring the area the next day.

    The nearby Edersee lake with its barrier wall invites you to relax. The Kellerwaldsteig and the Habichtswaldsteig are popular destinations for hikers. From Waldeck Castle, Arolsen Residential Palace to Wilhelmstal Castle with the adjoining Wilhelmshöhe Mountain Park, where Hercules is enthroned high above, up to Willingen with the Mühlenkopf ski jump and the Skywalk, there is plenty to discover. Two nearby outdoor pools invite you to cool off. But even in bad weather, various indoor pools are a popular destination. The zoos are a welcome change for guests of all ages. If you want to get up high, the treetop walk TreeTopWalk directly on Lake Edersee is just the thing.

Besser als jedes 5***** Hotel

Pros: Die Gastgeberin war sehr zuvorkommend. Der eigentliche Check in war um 16h, aber bereits ab Mittag konnten wir einziehen. Ihr Vater hat sich herzlich um uns gekümmert. Wir konnten ihn jederzeit fragen. Das ganze Haus (2 Etagen) war super eingerichtet. Highlight der riesige Balkon, wo wir mit 2 Familien gefrühstückt und Abendessen (großer Gasgrill) nähe Garten genossen haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen es ab sofort allen unseren Freunden. Kein Hotel vor Ort kann das anbieten. Die 15min Fahrtzeit zum Edersee ist ein Klacks. Dafür bekommt man Ruhe, Kinder können sich austoben (Happy Kids Happy Family). Cons: Ein Sonnensegel auf der grosen Terasse wäre noch gut, da bereits ab 8h die Sonne hier scheint. Ein bisschen Schatten wäre gut :-)

Tolle Lage um den Edersee und Umgebung zu erkunden.

Pros: Das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet mit Zusatz Möglichkeiten besonders für Kinder mit vielen Spielen und Büchern und tolle Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin.
