Great location and great host

Great location and great property. Very close to paddocks so kids had a great time. Host provided great information about the route which was helpful driving in the rainy weather.

An excellent farmstay experience

The Camelot Farmstay was exactly what we were after for a time to reconnect with family. Plenty of space and comfort, well kitted out with all you could need and lots of activities to keep kids entertained and lovely animals to watch go about their day. Thank you to our hosts!

Lovely stay away from the city

Nice quiet property with great farm animals. Annette was lovely and very happy to show us the animals. We did miss feeding the horses so recommend letting them know in advance if you want to feed them. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Fresh air

Quick escape from Sydney to get some fresh air. Plenty of room indoors great kitchen set up and lots of board games for when the weather gets wet. Lovely spot not far from Sydney but a world away.

Wonderful relaxed stay

We loved our stay at Camelot. The photos don’t do it justice. The cottage is very spacious, has a fully fenced back yard for dogs ( or toddlers) and the hosts are very helpful and have thought of everything ( eg milk, dishwash, paper towels, cling wrap etc). Very peaceful evenings out in the covered BarBQ area watching the animals graze.

Perfect spot for a quiet peaceful stay

Farmstay was great for our family plus doggie. Plenty of space inside and covered area outside. Looks out on sheep and horses. Rained madly but plenty to do for the kids with board games and wii🙂peaceful other than traffic hurtling down dungog road and ghosts in the pipes.

Exactly what we needed

Too short but just the break we needed. Annette & Kylie were amazing hosts. They were more than happy to take our kids around to meet & feed the animals. Our kids now want a horse! Peaceful & beautiful scenery. Accomodation super & lots of activities for us all. We can’t wait to come back

Perfect getaway from city life

We stayed for two nights and shared the place with one of our friends. The kids had a great time and got to see farm animals such as sheep, horses, birds, and chickens. We had plenty of board games, table tennis, and a vast DVD collection to keep us entertained. With no internet on the property and poor network coverage, we had ample time to bond with each other. Walking on the farm at night under the full moon was truly an amazing experience.

Long weekend getaway

Farmstay get away

Fantastic property full of interest both as a working farm and a re-purposing of a former dairy. Wonderful hosts, very warm and accomodating who welcomed us to join the feeding of the animals which was a highlight. Lovely part of the world for a taste of country living with many attractions nearby.

Amazing farms stay

Wonderfully comfortable house! Fitted two families perfectly! Fantastic mountain bike tracks near by at the Dungog commons, our hosts were very accomodating and the children loved feeding the animals with them! The outdoor fire pit abs BBQ area were great! Highly recommend this stay!

The teens enjoyed a range of activities in the house, piano, table tennis table, games. Best to phone rather than text as we had a prompt response to phone call but no response to texts so we missed out on being able to feed the animals which my youngest child was keen to try.

Fabulous farmstay

We had a lovely time at the farmstay, the kids had a gala time feeding all the animals and also the free open space to play cricket and other games. Both Kylee and Annette were wonderful host who were just a knock away and helped us mind your dog during our stay for a while so that we can visit Barrington tops. Definately recommend this place if anyone is looking to spend few nights in the country side with kids and pets.

spacious enough for a large family but also good for singles or couples

I was in the area for work and stayed over a week with my dog. It was a very peaceful place, owners non intrusive but there if you need them. Large and spacious with lots of good points. It was fun waking up to the sound of the horses and alpacas. The nearby towns are interesting and have some great walking places to exercise your dog.
