About this property
Awesome in Walloon Village
Great spot! Ten minutes to Boyne Mt. and a three-minute walk from the charming village of Walloon Lake with its shopping, beach, and restaurants. This space comes with a full kitchen and workspace. It's an ideal spot for two, however, there is a futon in the living room to accommodate two little ones. (Another apt. next door is available for booking). Our apt. is 12 minutes from Petoskey's gaslight district or restaurants in Boyne City.
Guest access Our apartment includes a laundry room in the middle of the building & a large parking lot in case you want to bring your boat.
Local activities are downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, ice skating (when it’s cold enough the Village has a skating pond by the Barrel Back restaurant), boating (rentals are available in the Village), golf, mountain biking, hiking, and biking trails are within a ten-minute drive. If you like upscale restaurants The Barrel Back restaurant is a memorable experience as it sits above a marina in the Village of Walloon & it’s a fun place to watch the boats.

It was clean, quiet and only 10 minutes from Boyne Mountain, where we skied. The internet was great which helped when I had to do a little bit of work remotely. We would definitely go back.
Very clean and comfortable stay - would definitely stay there again!

Very well maintained and very clean. Cozy and relaxed. I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend staying here. Beautiful area and affordable.
My son and I enjoyed our rime at this property. It was cozy and had all of the necessities. We were there for a ski trip and enjoyed coming back to this quiet little place after a day of skiing.
Perfect spot for the 2 of us. Clean, good location, close to the tunnel of trees. We were hoping to walk the Sky Bridge but it is only open on the weekends in November. Gives us a reason to come back to this charming town!
We had a soccer tournament weekend but were looking for a special getaway for us with no kids! This worked perfectly for us! Loved the convenience to everything and enjoyed making memories in Walloon Lake❤️
I stayed for a couple nights while visiting a friend on Walloon Lake.
The apartment building is pretty simple and near the main road. The apartment is a really nice size and good layout.
Highly recommend for a very reasonable price in a great area.
Convenient to Walloon, Boyne, Petoskey, Harbor and beyond. Great central location.
Very clean, comfortable and quiet.
The apartment itself was small, yet cosy. More than adequate for myself and husband, for the brief time we were in town.
The apartment was spotless, which was fantastic. The location was perfect for Walloon Lake. Literally a 7 min walk to the lake, minus the hefty price tag of being on the water.
The apartment had plenty of clean towels, toilet paper, paper towels etc. However, as we were out and about most of the time, we only used the apartment to sleep, so didn’t really make use of the kitchen facilities. It did however seem to have everything you would need to prepare a meal(s).
There was a laundry room located next to the apartment with two sets of washer dryers. One being coin operated, and the other via an app using Apple Pay or credit card. The coin operated dryer was unfortunately broken, (which I only noticed after I put the clothes in the washing machine), so my husband ended up having to download an app, (I couldn’t as I’m not American, so don’t have a US App Store), load credit onto said app using Apple Pay, just to dry clothes. We only needed one cycle, which was $2.50, but the minimum credit you could load was $10, and then you could refund back to Apple Pay, unused credit. A bit of a palaver to be honest just to dry clothes, but we got there in the end. Not the fault of the host at all, just a building issue.
Would 100% recommend the apartment and return again.
Beautiful and cozy! Very welcoming. Easy to find and close to everything. Looking forward to a return visit!

Heat didn't work real well. Driveway wasn't shoveled and I got stuck. Unit smaller than it looked in pictures. I didn't realize only restroom was in the bedroom. Although i didn't complain to host with these issues. But when i spoke to her about some questions, she was quick to respond and very nice.
Perfect little place for my wife and I to spend a couple nights as we enjoyed the Walloon Lake area. Very clean, quiet and cozy. Our host did a great job communicating and taking care of all the little details.
Thanks for the tip in your guidebook about the walking trail along the shore!
