As in the past, a very nice and clean spot in Walsenburg

Arica was our property manager and she was most helpful during late evening hours, when we needed help opening our room door.The room as well as the main area and kitchen were spotless. Aside from the usual sound of passing through town trains, it was quiet at night.

Classy comfortable unit

Recently built on the second floor of a downtown building there are several units and a conference area associated with this property. Walked around the corner to a great dinner at the Plaza Hotel, no problem finding street parking. Unit was very clean and quiet. When we had problems with the thermostat the owner immediately sent over the handyman who fixed it promptly. If trains bother you consider earplugs if they enchant you the BN runs through town and can be heard at night.

I thought everything was a great value for the price, especially compared to motels in the surrounding area. The common living room and kitchen area were especially nice as I get up earlier than everyone else and I was able to enjoy coffee and relax in the living area. The only negative feedback I have is that the pillows for the bed in Loft #3 were very hard and not comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful suite. The owner upgraded us prior to arriving. Those who have difficulty with stairs should know that there is no elevator and Lofts are on the 2nd floor. Parking is on the street. Owners do give advise as to where to park, but it's all on the street.

Quick Night in Walsenburg

Upon driving into the town, we were concerned, most homes and stores had bars on the doors and windows. The location was in downtown and seemed pretty quiet, however we were still concerned with our vehicle being safe (It was fine the next morning). The loft was clean, with the exception of the floor, it was a little dirty. The vent in the bedroom was completely shut off and the air never seemed to get cold. The setting seemed busy, doors slamming, people walking, etc. There was also a train that scared us half to death during the night. Overall, the stay was good, I would stay here if I had to be in this town again, but otherwise, I would probably pass.

Bed Bugs!

My colleague's room was full of bed bugs. We counted at least 20. The property manager was amazing and refunded both our rooms immediately when we reached out to cancel our reservations. We were there Nov 11, 2021.

Nice, clean and comfortable! Would caution that if you have a lot of luggage or other heavy things to haul, this may not be a great option. There's not an elevator and the rooms are upstairs. The stairs are a little steep when you first enter so you will have to carry what you want in the room up and down. If that's not an issue then this is a great place to stay!

Easy check-in, the room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, there is central air for heating/cooling. There is a communal kitchen in case you need more than the fridge and coffeemaker in the room (I recommend the filtered water from the fridge over the water from the faucet ;)) If we head to Walsenberg again we will definitely stay here another time!

The bathroom was ridiculously dirty. We were hesitant to step on the floor. The room was almost double what other rooms in the area were.
