1970's Renovated,self contained 2 bedroom bach

Totara Bach Wanaka, is a comfortable, self contained 2 bedroom bach (linen & towels supplied), beside a large park (Kellys Reserve). 1.5km to town centre & 800m to the lake. BBQ, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine/ drier combination, TV, wifi, microwave, oven & cooktop, toaster, electric jug, heater & logburner. (We provide firewood). Separate toilet, outdoor seating & off street parking. Sorry, no pets.
The bach will be serviced weekly for stays more than one week.
We live next door & are more than happy to help with any local recommendations

Breathtaking

Perfect location to stay when visiting Wanaka. Comfortable beds after a long day of adventures. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need. Close to downtown and wineries.

Wonderful stay in Wanaka

We stayed at this property for two nights. Angela was a phenomenal host - she was kind, easy to communicate with, and provided so many helpful suggestions! The property was clean, comfortable, and everything we expected.

Fantastic property and stay

Had a great stay in this immaculately clean and well appointed property. Really well furnished with great beds/linen, great shower with excellent pressure and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Plenty of firewood and very quiet location, adjacent to sports fields and also very close to town. Hosts were also really attentive and available when needed. We'll definitely stay again!

Family ski getaway

My daughters and I loved this place - so warm, comfy and cosy. Easy access to Wanaka shops and restaurants, and a nice touch to arrive with the wood burner already stoked and the house lovely and warm. We’ll be back next winter :)

A wonderful stay in WBaka

The property was very comfortable. It was in a quiet and pleasant location, with only a short walk to the lake. We were made to feel at home by Angela our host from the very outset. Angela gave us some really helpful suggestions about places to see. The bach was perfect for our group of 3 with all our needs supplied. If (when) we return to Wanaka we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Welcoming base for Wanaka adventures

We loved this bach, absolutely all the amenities you could need and Angela was very welcoming and helpful, sorting out an issue with the key immediately and bringing extra balls for the kids to play with, along with making up a bed in the lounge. Really helpful having fans as it was beautifully warm when we’re staying, and beds were very comfortable. Really great having a stash of pantry staples too, appreciated the range of teas! Thank you for your hospitality

Cosy and welcoming bach in a great location

I stayed here with my daughter and two of her friends over the New Year period. The hosts were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The bach is in a fantastic location, walking distance to the lake and town centre. Everything was set up so well, very homely and inviting. The furnishings, linen and everything provided was of good quality and everything was spotlessly clean. We loved staying here; only wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend :)

Quiet escape

Very comfortable cottage that was extremely well equipped kitchen. Did not want for anything. Comfortable beds and great shower. BBQ and outdoor seating. Angela was a great host and very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy and luxurious

We were here for a 5 day ski trip. Hosts were lovely and Angela had thought of everything, including having the fire in for our arrival. We had a lovely stay, comfy beds and quality products to use while there. A nice quiet setting with room for kids to run around outside. Definitely enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. Highly recommend.
