Wanasaba Holidays

We recently spent a week at the Chandi and loved every minute of it. From our initial booking Widiya was incredibly kind and helpful. Arranging airport transport for us, a late check in and two very enjoyable snorkelling trips to the Gilis and secret Gilis. The villas are beautiful, very spacious, very clean, there is fresh drinking water, coffee machine, everything you need and it is neat and tidy. We had one of the ocean view rooms and it was so beautiful to lay in bed and look out at the pool and ocean. The food is fantastic and I think well priced for the service and quality. A lot of it is made fresh on site ( bread, pastries, cakes, sourdough bases). Both the Indonesian food and western food were great. We had delicious meals every single time. The included breakfast is very generous with a really wide range of choices. Can’t complain about a 2 hours of 2 for 1 cocktails during sunset either! Not a bad thing but the resort itself is not in Senggigi central so you just need to be prepared to either walk, bike or arrange transport to most places. Which is very easy to do. It makes for a nice, quiet stay and some forced relaxation. You can swim or snorkel out the front of the beach but it is not a white sand beach and there is a reef as well so it’s better suited to those who are competent swimmers. The hotel provides reef booties and snorkelling gear.
