A tranquil little gem in a beautiful spot

We had the most amazing, back to nature experience at this property, a beautiful home in a marvellous location. This little gem was exactly what we needed to bring us back to a nature-filled long weekend away. The house was really clean and it had absolutely everything we needed plus more! Thank you for such great communication and such effortless check in. We loved it and we will be back !!

Wonderful house in wonderful location

Beautiful big house with perfect ambience and location for a fabulous stay in Wandiligong. Close enough to all that Bright has to offer but quiet and peaceful. Excellent base for cycling. Hope to return soon

Perfect location for relaxing break

We stayed three nights. Enjoyed the spacious house with excellent ammenities. Next door to Wandi pub. Convenient but not noisy. Would return.

Private country setting

Great property 5 mins from Bright. Kids enjoyed the pool table, adults enjoyed the fireplace. Nice quiet country setting where all you can hear is the river and wildlife.

Lovely Getaway

Beautiful home in a lovely location. Warm and welcoming house with everything you need for a holiday. Loads of walks from the back yard and easy access to the bike path that goes all the way into town. A little way from the centre of Bright but on the same road to drop mountain bike riders to the shuttle service. The pool table was awesome to have and the outdoor fire a winner too,

Brilliant property except for the cleaning

An absolutely lovely property, brilliant location, amazing views, but unfortunately not very well cleaned (e.g. dirty toilets, dust everywhere, knives caked in Vegemite etc…) . If it had been cleaned well it would have been perfect.

Family weekend

The property is clean and as described, in a nice location. In fact we chose it for the location and the outdoor fireplace. Furniture inside may need a refresh but not an issue. The communication with the host was perfect, Marcus is approachable and answers all queries promptly. Overall an ok stay. There was a bit of a smokey, stuffy smell about the house but that’s due to the indoor fireplace which we chose not to use for that reason. Overall a good house, some ppl may not be comfortable with the surveillance cameras outside the house. There was also some musty smell coming from the laundry mops, need to leave windows open at all times. No heaters in bedrooms, just electric blankets.

Great location but….

We stayed at this property for a week. We enjoyed the property which was well presented, well located, with great views and a beautiful backyard deck and open fireplace outside. There were two bathrooms and only one bath mat and a hand towel were provided which wasn’t enough for a family of five. The only area of concern was that the owner was monitoring our movements in the driveway and in the front yard via outdoor security cameras. He told us this when when communicating via the app. This was discomforting as we had children and wanted a private stay.

You don’t always get what you pay for

This is a great holiday property if you are looking for a good view with comfy beds and a great pub meal right next door. This isn’t the property for you if you expect good communication about check-in and out processes, WiFi access or for the property to be clean and well maintained. If however, you like enough dust that you can write your name in it and a well greased BBQ on a deck that is desperate for some care and attention, this is going to be right up your alley!
