"We enjoyed everything about our stay. The kitchen was well equipped with whatever you need. The house was spotless, much appreciated especially in the bathrooms. The location was close to the wineries (Weis was our favorite) and Watkins Glen. The view from the lake was beautiful and the sunset was spectacular. We had fires by the lake at night and the best part was it was dog friendly."

"This cottage is great !!! We were visiting the area to hike Watkins Glen over the holiday weekend. Plenty of space. We had a party 0f 7 (all adults) and never felt cramped. The kitchen was stocked with anything we needed when we cooked meals. The kayaks were an added bonus! We had a blast taking them out. We would stay again."

"Diane and Tom are there to welcome you when you arrive. They carefully take you through how things work, the rules, and the property. They are a very sweet couple. They supply everything you need: firewood, towels, bed linens.The location of the house is ideal. It’s 5 minutes from some of the best wineries on Kueka, about 10-15 minutes from restaurants in Hammondsport, and 20 min from some of our favorite Seneca wineries. I also really liked that it was on a quiet road at the edge of the lake front. We were able to take our dogs on daily walks by the lake without the fear of fast cars.The hot tub and fire pit were ideal. The glider chairs around the fire pit were beautiful and comfortable. The hot tub was so relaxing and very clean.Not far down the road at Novak’s dairy barn, you can get possibly the best breakfast sandwich and a delicious cup of coffee. The hosts supplied a coffee maker as well.My only complaint is the beds. They were not very comfortable. I feel the addition of a mattress topper would make a huge difference. Also, the pillows weren’t great, but that’s a personal preference and we are now learning to just bring our own pillows in the future as this is something we encounter at every property.All in all, I recommend this property. It is a great retreat in a beautiful area!"

"The house was very clean, very cute, & was perfect for a fall stay. The views were beautiful and it was a cozy place. The only reason it wasn't five stars for us was because the wifi didn't work well (connecting to devices but would not load anything, often forcing us to use cellular data on devices but there was very limited cell service). We didn't mind the unplugged weekend, but the TV gave us some issues trying to play Sunday Football. Additionally, the pillows on the beds were not very supportive, but the beds themselves were extremely plush. We loved all the extra blankets."

Unfortunately all people staying here need to go through a bedroom to use the facilities since there is only one bathroom with a single entrance through a bedroom. If someone is sleeping there, they should know that their guests may be walking through throughout the evening to use the only facility."
