The high-quality, tastefully furnished Nordlys holiday home offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday in its approximately 75 m² of living space. On the ground floor, you’ll find a new, fully equipped kitchen, a guest bathroom with a shower, and a cosy living room.

The living area is bright and modern—featuring a cosy couch, armchairs, a stylish dining table, and carefully selected accessories to make you feel right at home. Satellite TV and a hi-fi system provide entertainment, while the cast-iron stove, in addition to the central heating, ensures a particularly cosy atmosphere.

Plenty of light floods into the room through the large windows and glass door, offering a view of the sunny southwest-facing terrace with a fenced-in garden—ideal for relaxing outdoors. Hooksiel’s charming town centre invites you to stroll through its picturesque pedestrian zone, shops, and restaurants, while a large EDEKA supermarket with a bakery at the town entrance offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The beach, approximately 3 km away, is equipped with parking and beach chairs, and water skiing at the Hooksiel ski terraces provides plenty of action, while beautiful hiking and biking trails lead from the old harbour to the outer harbour and the beach.

The climatic health resort of Hooksiel (Zone 1) is subject to a visitor’s tax. Therefore, a visitor’s tax must be paid on site. This tax is based on the number of people, age, and length of stay. Information on the high and low seasons and the corresponding rates can be found on the Wangerland Touristik website.
The following are exempt from the visitor’s tax:
a) Children up to and including age 3.
b) Severely disabled persons whose “degree of disability” (formerly: reduced earning capacity) is 100% according to an official ID card.
c) Severely disabled persons who, according to their official ID card, are completely dependant on constant assistance (marked with a “B” on the ID card). This means: regardless of the degree of disability (e.g., GdB 80% and designation “B”).
d) Companions of severely disabled persons who, according to their official ID card, are completely dependant on constant assistance.
