On the ground floor, you’ll find a bright living area with a modern, fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table, and a cosy TV nook. The large picture window offers a wonderful view of the water. There’s also a bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as a bedroom with a bunk bed and TV. A convenient side entrance leads through the laundry room (with washing machine and dryer) directly into the house—perfect after days at the beach or outdoor activities.

On the upper floor, you’ll find three additional bedrooms (two with double beds and TVs, one with a double bed and a single bed), a guest bathroom, and a modern main bathroom with a double sink, a large glass shower, and a toilet. From the open gallery, you can enjoy the view of the living area. Electric exterior shutters and underfloor heating provide additional comfort.

The outdoor area is a real highlight: Several seating areas, lounge chairs, and a small swing chair invite you to relax—with a direct view of Lake Wangermeer. You’re just a few steps away from the beach! For active guests, kayaks, bicycles, and children’s bikes are available—there’s something for every age group. The health resort of Hohenkirchen offers everything you need for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday: Shopping options, two bakeries, a pharmacy, and medical care are all located right in town. The cities of Jever and Wilhelmshaven are also within easy reach and invite you to take a stroll through town or enjoy cultural excursions.

A special highlight for families is the Nordsee-Spielstadt Wangerland—an approximately 5,000 m² indoor amusement park that’s open rain or shine. The climatic health resort of Hohenkirchen (Zone 2) is subject to a visitor’s tax. Therefore, a visitor’s tax must be paid on site. This tax is based on the number of people, age, and length of stay. a) Children up to and including 3 years of age.
b) Severely disabled persons whose “degree of disability” (formerly: reduced earning capacity) is 100% according to an official ID card.
c) Severely disabled persons who, according to their official ID card, are completely dependant on constant assistance (marked with a “B” on the ID card). This means: regardless of the degree of disability (e.g., GdB 80% and designation “B”).
d) Companions of severely disabled persons who, according to their official ID card, are completely dependant on constant assistance.
