  • A total diamond in the rough! While the exterior is cute, the interior will blow you away! Newly renovated classy lake cabin only 1/4 mile to the boat launch and the beach! 1 private bedroom with a queen bed. Full size murphy bed in the main living area and a large sectional for extra sleeping if needed. Sleeps six comfortably. 1 Full bathroom. Large kitchen fully equipped with appliances including a dishwasher. Small patio out back with a gas grill and patio table and 4 chairs. Wash & dryer in the cabin Free WIFI and a new smart TV in the living room. Very quaint, cute lake cabin!

Great eclipse viewing!!!

We loved it here!!! There is a very nice swimming beach with a giant lake and boat ramp in walking distance; we went swimming and watched the eclipse!!! Absolutely phenomenal view at the lake, and the kitchen was very, very convenient if you want to save money and not eat out for every meal. The owner responds to texts instantly, too!

It really is a fantastic cabin!

Cabin is super cute, space is used efficiently with the use of the Murphy bed. We had 6 people and were quite cozy but comfortable, we also brought a blow up mattress which helped. The cabin is within walking distance of the beach, we wanted to be able to come and go throughout the day, so it was perfect for us. Since it is a new cabin and hasn't been used much, I thought it was put together well. Could use a few more things: bath mat, kitchen trash can, maybe a cookie sheet and a fire pit out back. Internet would be a bonus but not a make-or-break for us. We enjoyed our time and would definitely go back.

Stay on the Lake

I love the cabin and having it right on the lake was wonderful for my family; lots of fun and activity on the water with swimming and fishing. The only downside to this visit was the property next door looked like it had fallen in on itself and was going to be demolished and was a bit of an eyesore. however we did not let that spoil our fun. It would be good to have a can outside to dispose of our trash. and a firepit would be lovely after a long day at the lake to sit out and have smores.

hot weekend!

Lovely property! Constructive feedback: the chandelier in the main room shouldn't be connected with the ceiling fans, the person sleeping on the murphy bed has the choice of no ceiling fans, (not an option in Aug) or the light on all night. Propane BBQ grill should be replaced. I believe the igniter is malfunctioning, had to use a match to light it. This is a safety issue.

Misleading Picture

The picture of the lake is very misleading! This property doesn’t have a lake view. The block cabin though adequate on the inside is NOT nestled in nature but is in a crowed street of houses in every direction. No yard , no place to sit and enjoy nature. Construction going next to the “lake cabin” The cabin picture is cropped not showing the surroundings for a reason it is not pleasant. If you just need a place to crash in the area it’s ok but if you think you get to enjoy anything outside at the “cabin location” No, don’t waste your money here. The amenities were not accurate either. No toaster, no cereal bowl, sheets won’t stay on over thick mattress, which made the bed very tall, and we aren’t tall people 5’ 3” & 5”7” . So it was a climb up into the bed. My wife had to climb up on knees to get on it. The hot water doesn’t last long, no boat or canoe as listed. Deck is very small, and nothing to look at but other houses and a old block building and construction. No Lake Cabin sun set to see here. Very disappointed!!!

It was a terrible experience! I will NEVER rent off of this host again! Yes it was very hot outside, no one else we were visiting was burning up in their house. This place was so hot during the day we were literally sweating inside. It was ridiculous and I couldn't believe it. This place has NO privacy whatsoever! 2 old guys sitting across the street sit on their porch and staired at us the whole time we were getting out stuff out of our vehicle! That was odd! And it has some kind of critters inside because i heard something scratching again the pull down bed and I was laying in it! My 10yo granddaughter slept on the couch and said one night something was on the couch and trying to get in her cover so it was probably mice or rats idk!!! I just couldn't believe the whole nightmare of this stay. Couldn't go to sleep at night because it was so hot in there and I messaged the host and she just kept making excuses and telling us to just go next door and cool off! What!?🙄 she couldn't have cared less it seemed. Anyway it was awful and nowhere near worth the high price and I definitely learned a lesson with this and don't plan on making that mistake again! I will rent elsewhere for sure. Vrbo you may want to do better as well! Because that was a bad stay! I'm so happy to be out of that place. We almost left a day early because it was so bad and we were afraid of getting bit by whatever is in that little house and the air not cooling it so either way we couldn't get comfortable.

Cozy little cabin

Cute little cabin. Comfy couch and bed and nice big bathroom. Not a lot of frills but it's clean and has everything you need. Plus the host is super responsive and helpful.

Property was spotless upon arrival. Easy to find. Had a wonderful stay for the weekend. Only complaint is that the blankets for the Murphy bed were pretty thin and got cold overnight, ended up buying another blanket for next night. So I would suggest bringing a blanket or two with you if staying here.
