"Thier was a weird step ramp thing into the kitchen. It looked like some one has tried to make it better, but made it worse instead. It is really a fall waiting to happen. We need to leave the bathroom light on so has to prevent as falling during the night.The bed was very comfortable and I and my husband slepted well. I love the shower it was a great place to get clean.I assumed thier would of been provision for a continental breakfast but thier wasn't. Over all the room was very comfortable and we slept well. That what it's all about being able to sleep well in comfort."

"The room was extremely dated. Back to the 60s. The carpet smelt of cats urine. I made mention in a review to the Manager, when I went to reception a staff member said “oh yeah, I did see that in the review” yet never bothered to follow up or contact me. Were adamant that no cats hat been in the room. I had to explain quite often pets travel with owners. The windows were dirty. Water pooled in the bathroom floor. I inquired about checking out after the first night. I was made aware no refund would be given. I checked out a day earlier and found alternative accomodation."

"Good parking. Nice restaurant / takeway on-site. Small room with table & 2 chairs, nice bathroom, cutlery and plates but no cooking facilities only microwave, jug, toaster, fridge, no freezer. No sink or anywhere to wash dishes and cups, but a tea towel available. Room needed airing on arrival. Needs new curtains. Handy to supermarket, gas. Only 7 min drive to Port Elliot or Granite Island causeway."

"Historic hotel, reminiscent of Fawlty Towers, complete with winding corridors and creaking floorboards. Has retained a lot of its historic character. Our spa room was comfortable with a veranda facing the ocean. Very good, quirky bistro."

"A very disappointing stay as the unit had a very musty smell, was not clean, mouldy carpet, wardrobes smelt, no aircon remote for bedroom, fan in bathroom worked only very occasionally and no window, towel rail loose, no maintenance book to complete as requested by host, strange shower set up. We had to clean the exhaust fan and the window sills and under the bed ourselves. Also there were things stored in the 2nd bedroom with no wardrobe space. Good location and comfy bed though. We had"
