"From the moment we arrived the lady on reception, I think she may have been the on-duty for our stay, was so helpful and aware it was both our pre-wedding and reception venue. There was nothing too much trouble for the staff, from breakfast in our room to preparing the reception room and buffet for our arrival after the ceremony. There were additional requirements throughout the day which again they catered for without any problems. I would highly recommend this hotel and their staff and thank them for their help and professionalism both on our stay and special day."

"Lovely view over the river, great facilities with the gym/pool and the bar has a lovely balcony overlooking the water. Great free parking included. However our bathroom was both falling apart and filthy, it really let an otherwise a really pleasant hotel down."

"Great location & views from the hotel, short walk from the Lakes. Specious room. Food menu is good. Nice staff. We hired eBikes, Oliver was really helpful. Reception was quick easy check-in. Can't fault anything about the stay."

"Hotel was perfect location for getting to the lake and getting round the local bars/restaurants and shops. The view from the terrace was stunning and the hotel had lovely architecture. The room was ideal and lake view was gorgeous. Spiderwebs and bugs in the high ceilings were the only thing that let it down (we were staying in room 72). Breakfast had good options and majority of it was lovely. Only comment was the black pudding didn’t seem like it was cooked properly. We ate in the restaurant one night and couldn’t complain at all. I had the fish and chips and was one of the best I had. My partner had the mushroom risotto which was also lovely. But would definitely recommend and stay again"
