Nestled in the beautiful Wartook Valley on the western edge of the Grampians National Park, earth & ember is a quiet return to nature. Chill out watching the abundant kangaroos, emu and abundant birdlife, or get your active on and visit stunning waterfalls, explore hiking trails or view some of the most significant rock art sites in Australia. A perfect spot to wind down after a hard day adventuring with canoeing, rock climbing, and abseiling opportunities abounding, earth & ember will give you an unforgettable night sky, a soft bed, and a perfect base to do it all again the next day.



The Space:

Earth & Ember by Tiny Away is situated near the Grampians National Park, within Wartook, VIC, Australia. Our tiny house is the ideal base to recharge in nature, where you may spot the flame-headed Gang-Gang Cockatoo and the Grampians landscape.



Drawing inspiration from the natural elements surrounding us in the Grampians, our holiday homes offer you different experiences while you stay.



Fire: Gather around the crackling fire after a day of exploring, warm up as the evening cools, and unwind beneath the darkening sky.



Earth: Inspired by Grampians' landscape of dramatic sandstone cliffs, rugged rock formations, significant rock art sites, walking trails and scenic views.



Air: Crisp country air and exceptionally clear night skies, filling the night with constellations, planets and the soft glow of the Milky Way.



Water: Home to spectacular waterfalls and scenic lakes where you can enjoy nature and the outdoors.



A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, a hand basin, and a gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice for relaxing holiday homes.

Getting Around:

By car:

- From Melbourne 3 hours 20 minutes, 289 km, from Adelaide 5 hours, 470km and to Horsham 30 mins, 42 km; Halls Gap 35 mins, 31 km; Stawell 40 min, 51km. Reachable by 2WD



By public transport:

- No access via public transport or taxi service



Other Things to Note:

- BBQ grill is available.

- Potable water is free.

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Children are welcome under close adult supervision.

- Make sure to turn off the lights, AC, electronics, close windows and doors when leaving.

- Smoking is permitted outside only. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the provided ashtrays.

- Telstra and Optus have good signal while other networks have weak to no signal on the property.

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge.

- A maximum of 2 pets are allowed with 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on a leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival. (Please Note: Note that dogs are not allowed in the Grampians Nation Park.)



Important note:



- Keep an eye out for snakes as the property is located in bushland areas

- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban or fire danger period (Nov-Mar).

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property. Children are welcome under close adult supervision, including a safety guide sent prior to booking.

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
