"One of the best hotels we have stayed at recently. The staff was courteous and professional. The room was neat, clean, and appeared to be quite new. The bathroom was spacious, as was the shower. The room included a kitchenette, a loveseat, an ottoman, and a king-sized bed. The complimentary breakfast and coffee bar were exceptional. The hotel is located on the wharf, offering plenty of dining and dessert options. If we ever return to DC, we will definitely stay here again."
"I had 2 reservations made at separate times, back-to-back dates for my family July 2-5. Due to the holiday and high capacity, the night manager informed me on check-in I would need to change rooms after the first night, but instead of the same room type (2 queen terrace) he put us in the corner one bedroom suite on the top floor for the first night, and complementary breakfast for the inconvenience. excellent service!
We greatly enjoyed our stay at DC’s “Arlo”, the service was excellent in all areas of the property, with great food, drinks, decor, and comfort. It will definitely be at the top of our list for future DC stays."
"The staff was very friendly and welcoming. One thing about the hotel: there are two separate buildings, so make sure you know building your room is located. The breakfast buffet is expensive - limited options. Location is very convenient to Arlington Cemetery/highways. "
"Rooms was very nice but the bathroom was an odd setup with the shower showing thru to bedroom and door on WC only. Vue, the rooftop restaurant and bar, was wonderful… breathtaking views of Washington monument. Location was fantastic and central to everything. Would definitely stay here again."
"Loved this boutique hotel! Valets and check in staff were excellent, we loved the atmosphere of the bar, and the restaurant food and service were great. We booked a Superior King room for the July 04 holiday and it was very nice for the two of us. Clean, nicely decorated and the bathroom while on the smaller side was sufficient with a tub/shower stocked with soaps, shampoo and conditioner. Really like that this older gem retains a lot of the original character! A few blocks down 21st street takes you to the Lincoln Memorial and Reflection Pool. Would definitely stay here again!"
"Great hotel. Biggest complaint is that valet could not park a full size pickup truck. Not a lifted or monster truck, just a regular GMC pickup. I had asked prior to booking but when I arrived, I was “on my own”."
Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington D.C. – Convention Center
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent location. Very walkable. Room was very clean. Breakfast was fine, although lines very long (we were there the week of July 4th), with no plates at one point and long elevator lines. Regardless, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend."
