Great place to stay

This was a great place for myself and my family while visiting Washington. Love the neighborhood. House is charming and in good shape. Owner really takes extra effort to make it fell more like a home.

Great location for a family trip to DC

If you are looking for a great place to stay with your family (and pet) in the DC area this should be a top choice! We plan to stay here again in 2025 when back in DC!

DC Trip to Find Student Housing

Our family had a great stay in Washington DC in general, and the V Street property in particular. The home was clean, comfortable and well appointed. There's a small park behind the home that was perfect for walking the dog, and off-street parking at the home. Would definitely stay here again when visiting DC.

Great Stay in DC

We had an amazing stay! The property was immaculate and so well-stocked. We wanted for nothing when we were in the home. The location was great. Schannette and Jonathan were amazing, friendly hosts and responded to our questions in minutes. They were extremely flexible and accommodating when we had a check-in issue. Great place for families

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for our group of 7. The house was clean and comfortable. The host left many little extras that were a nice surprise! It is a 15-20 minute walk to the Shaw Metro station so there is easy access to all the downtown attractions. Highly recommended!

City Get-Away

All of our guests were immediately impressed by this home. The accommodations were immaculate, supplies were provided for anything we needed and extra treats were left to welcome us. I grilled one night on the back patio and enjoyed the view of the park and neighborhood. The BEST house we have stayed in this year!

Great host in DC

Schanette goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay, including snacks and toiletries. The house is large and well equipped and we enjoyed evenings on the back deck.

I cannot say enough about the kind and caring host. Schannette is the absolute best to work with. She was from beginning to end an amazing communicator. The property is fantastic. A Wonderful Place to Stay

This home is in a quiet location and within walking distance for coffee, food, etc. Parking was easy. Home had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. It was stocked with water, snacks, toiletries, plenty of towels, paper goods, and the like. Beds were comfy and the ability to control the air was a must; it was definitely cool. Seating for eating and relaxing was also comfy. Though we spent most of our days out and about, it was nice to come back to a place that felt like home. I am definitely recommending this location as a great place to stay.

Wonderful first trip to DC

This property had so many perks! From snacks, to many different coffee flavors, the toiletries were great as well. Fabulous location to get downtown. Bedding was very comfortable, kitchen had everything you'd need. The only thing id want to stress is that the stairs were really steep, so my elderly sister felt insecure climbing them without assistance. I'd love to come back again with my adult children!

Excellent Host, Charming Neighborhood, Great Home

Although we chose this home because of its proximity to the Washington Hospital Center, we really enjoyed the home and the neighborhood. Bloomindale is a charming neighborhood, and the home is directly next to a small park where families have picknicks with small children and folks are walking their dogs. A great location to explore DC from and then get away from the hustle and bustle while still being in the middle of it all. A very clean and spacious home. The owner, Schannette, was a delight to work with. We definitely recommend this home!

Weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in DC. We were celebrating a high school graduation with family and it was the largest group we ever tried to travel with. The house was clean and gave us the space we needed. Worth noting that the Metro station is a 15-20 min walk. We did not mind this at all, but some might. There is a lovely little park out back and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching people walk their dogs and play with kids.
