DC Trip to Find Student Housing

Our family had a great stay in Washington DC in general, and the V Street property in particular. The home was clean, comfortable and well appointed. There's a small park behind the home that was perfect for walking the dog, and off-street parking at the home. Would definitely stay here again when visiting DC.

This property was wonderful for our family trip—-grandparents, grandchildren 8 and 10, and their uncle. We cooked breakfast every day, and several dinners. The kitchen is well-appointed with a generous supply of spices, coffees, teas etc. The bathrooms are equally well stocked with lots of high quality towels, soaps, lotions and high quality hair dryer, The beds are extremely comfortable. The metro was an easy walk and there were several excellent food, coffee options close by. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet, lots of beautiful row houses. Schannette was quick to respond and was gracious and flexible—-we made a mistake in booking which she accommodated and also was responsive to our request for a late checkout. The property manager was equally helpful and responsive. We really felt at home but also appreciated a number of thoughtful details that made us feel like special guests. Thank you, Schannette!

Schanette goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay, including snacks and toiletries. The house is large and well equipped and we enjoyed evenings on the back deck.

Great place for families

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was perfect for our group of 7. The house was clean and comfortable. The host left many little extras that were a nice surprise! It is a 15-20 minute walk to the Shaw Metro station so there is easy access to all the downtown attractions. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay! The property was immaculate and so well-stocked. We wanted for nothing when we were in the home. The location was great. Schannette and Jonathan were amazing, friendly hosts and responded to our questions in minutes. They were extremely flexible and accommodating when we had a check-in issue. City Get-Away

All of our guests were immediately impressed by this home. The accommodations were immaculate, supplies were provided for anything we needed and extra treats were left to welcome us. I grilled one night on the back patio and enjoyed the view of the park and neighborhood. The BEST house we have stayed in this year!
