DC Getaway

Wanted to be a tourist for a few days and needed a place suited for getting around town. Excellent location with easy parking attached and wonderful restaurant (Ted’s Bulletin).

Pleasant Stay in Washington DC

Our family enjoyed our time in DC last weekend and our stay at this location. It was very clean and overall comfortable. It did seem a bit unfinished and we had to wait until after 4:00 to get in, but would say this is a good place to stay and great location.

We stayed 8 days and found the apartment reasonable. Things we found that reflected poorly were "Motel 6" quality of furniture, lamp switches that were broken, blinds that didn't work correctly, cabinet handles sticking out right over the sink which made washing dishes awkward. We really did enjoy the location, safety features of the building, gym, and other amenities.

Weekend break

The apartment was lovely, though we had some delay in gaining entry. Everything was spotless and well laid out for the four of us with plenty of space. Fantastic location.

Great location and amenities in the building

Revel has lots of amenities and is a beautiful building in a convenient location for getting around the city. This unit however needs some attention. Window covering is broken, making it impossible to open it and have any kind of natural light, the plumbing in the 2nd shower is messed up and overall the place looks like it was bare minimum and then barely maintained. Communication with the management company also quite poor.

Great location!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite a few concerns. The apartment is in a great location. It was easy to access. Not very plush but comfortable. The downside: There are no shelves in the shower for toiletries. The floors weren’t clean. The listing advertised a queen bed in the second bedroom. Instead, there were twin beds with mattresses that need to be thrown out (they lean). Finally, there are no in/out privileges with the otherwise very convenient but expensive parking. It would have been much nicer to include the parking fee in the rental fee or secure the same privileges for in/out privileges offered to guests at the nearby Marriott.
