The space is cozy but spacious, practical but full of thoughtful design touches. Perfect for solo travelers or couples, whether you're here for a weekend escape or a longer summer internship.

Getting around is effortless: 5 minutes to the Green/Yellow line, 1 minute to D40/D74 buses, and less than 10 minutes to some of Petworth's best — Timber Pizza, Menya Hosaki and Snappy's among others.

Private on-property parking is available at an extra fee. Street parking is also an option depending on the day and time — just check the signs for local rules.

No in-unit washer/dryer, but two laundromats are within 10 minutes on foot. Towels and linens are freshly laundered by the host, and a large portable laundry bag is provided for your convenience.

The listing is a private English basement of a row home.

I live on the upper two levels and work from home. I have a cat and a dog that never enter the basement, even when there are no guests. You may hear my dog bark from time to time but I enforce quiet hours between 11 pm and 7 am every day. If you'd like to meet her and give her some pets & treats, just let me know. :)
