The house felt like a home. It was well maintained, clean, easy to access all areas. Good location. Beautifully decorated. Three couples, enough space for all.Owner accessible for questions.
Wonderful hosts!! The home was perfect for our group of 4 couples. Within walking distance to everywhere. Nice layout so we didn’t feel crowded. Every appliance and items that made our breakfasts there easy to prepare.
Great location-grocery stores near byand Union Station a few blocks awayHouse was clean and fit our needs perfectly. I would definitely recommend the spot to others!
Everything about this property was just perfect for our family's trip to D.C., but I want to especially call out the convenient location. We did not have a car with us and there is a Whole Foods, a Starbucks, and a CVS literally within hundreds of feet, not to mention numerous restaurants and a book shop within walking distances. Highly convenient for those visiting without a car.
House was amazing. Listing is very accurate. Plenty of room for our entire adult group. Stocked kitchen and BBQ grill worked out great. Location was in nice neighborhood and a 2 minute walk yo Whole Foods. Comfortable beds and the entire place was spotless.
The townhouse was perfect for us. Comfortable, clean, quiet.....safe neighborhood--walking distance to shops and Whole Foods. Short trip to museums. Modern kitchen. Major bonus: each one of us (there were 4) had their own bedroom and bathroom. Would stay here again. -the girls from Chicago
This home had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Plenty of cookware, cleaning supplies, bedding, toiletries, etc. it was also walking distance from CVS, Whole Foods, and nice restaurants. It was spacious so everyone could have their own privacy and there were nice desks/working areas provided if you needed.
We used the H Street Corridor property as a gathering spot for family members traveling from around the country to DC for a wedding. The place was comfortable and spacious. Every bedroom had its own bathroom, which felt like luxury, especially with having to get ready for wedding-related events.
While close to H Street, it is far enough away that noise was not a problem. We took advantage of Whole Foods, Starbucks, and CVS being nearby to keep us stocked.
Rick was a responsive host and helped guide us on how to park two vehicles at the property.
The location, size, and comfort of the H Street Corridor property allowed our family to catch up and enjoy the long weekend and wedding.
The house was great. There were 6 of us for 6 nights. It was conveniently located. We walked to Capital Hill.
The bedrooms were arranged perfectly for our crew. The dining room and kitchen were organized such that it was easy for the 6 of us to dine together. The kids played games on the living room floor. The ultimate compliment came from our 10-year-old granddaughter who said she wanted to come back to the house again next year.
This luxurious home is perfect for visiting the museums and Capitol area. We chose to travel by Uber and the rides were easily obtainable and short. The Whole Foods a few minutes walk away made food logistics so simple. The neighborhood itself is attractive and peaceful.
The house is spacious and well laid out. Each bedroom (with its own bathroom!) provided a lovely and private retreat. The main level had plenty of room and was well set up for meals and socializing. It is hard to imagine a better place for an extended family or group of friends to vacation in the DC area.
A wonderful location with stores and restaurants walkable on H Street. Short Uber rides to many museums and attractions. Rented a car but never used it. Garage space was available.
The only negative was due to our ages all over 70. Pack lightly ( small suitcase ) since all bedrooms are on 2nd or 3rd floor
A very nice, well-equipped townhouse in a lively, convenient DC neighborhood (H Street Corridor). Host very responsive and amiable. Free streetcar for the 3 to 4 blocks to Union Station where you can catch the $1 DC Circulator Bus (et al.) to many tourist destinations, etc. Whole Foods at the corner and a variety of walkable restaurants, which can be very busy: consider dinner reservations. Street parking is available, but sparse. We used the back-facing garage, which was very narrow and a tight fit for my Subaru Outback. We were not aware that there are 2 sometimes-quite-narrow routes to the garage, our only issue. Our 5 adults and 2 children had a great time at the townhouse and wanted for nothing. To date, It’s the best Vrbo we’ve stayed in!
This charming row house in a safe, leafy DC neighborhood is perfect for multiple adult couples. Each bedroom had its own full bath and the layout (2 BRs on the 2nd floor & 2 BRs on the 3rd floor) afforded privacy. The first floor gathering place was spacious enough for all 6 of us to watch movies.
We did not have a car and did not need one. Whole Foods was a block away to stock up on breakfast items, drinks, and snacks. Union Station was a 10 minute walk and a close Metro hub. There were multiple local restaurants to walk to, and we had pizza delivered 1 night.
The hosts are wonderful, gracious people who live close by and obviously enjoy welcoming travelers into their home and city. The neighbors were friendly, walking their dogs and pushing strollers.
The property was wonderful. It was a great location, lovely, well furnished and the downstairs rooms kitchen, parking, and bedrooms were great. We had all of the amentities that we could ask for. Our only problem was that we could not figure out how to get into the front door when we arrived late at night. It was dark, and the directions to enter the front door were not clear to us. From our viewpoint, it needs to be VERY clear that you need to tap the bar BELOW the numbers, not the round spot in the center of the numbers after you enter the code. I do understand that the owner tried to contact me while we were struggling, but I had not turned my phone off airplane mode. We did not have the key to the back door at the beginning of the stay, but that was an easy fix for us.
We chose to stay at this VRBO for the weekend of our daughter's wedding in DC. It was even better in person than it showed on the listing. Every bedroom had it's own bathroom plus a 1/2 bath downstairs which was a huge plus for our group. As soon as we arrived our host, Rick, greeted us and gave us a quick tour and information of how to access the property from front and back. Super easy and convenient. Everytime I had a question, he was quick to respond. I spoke with Rick and Janet several times before we arrived to ask questions and they responded very quickly. They even went out and purchased champagne flutes when I asked if they had any available. So kind!l The beds were very comfortable and the rooms very cozy. Each closet had hangers and a hanging organizer if you needed extra room to unpack. The house was decorated nicely and had all the ammenities we needed. It is a 3 story house so there are a lot of stairs. The garage parking was a huge plus (if you've never visited DC before, finding street parking is a pain) So private, enclosed parking is a selling point for me! It's very close to Whole Foods and several coffee shops within walking distance. It is DC so you have to be careful. It snowed a lot while we were there and I just happened to open the blinds early Friday morning and found Rick out in the freezing cold shoveling off the stairs for us. So appreciative of that! I loved this house and would definitely stay here again!
Host was helpful, property attention to detail was very good. Location was really convenient with a lot of retail right there--Whole Foods, restaurants, pharmacy, etc. Had a car so parking in the open garage really helped. Would stay again!
