This stylish two-bedroom apartment is located within urban DC, only a short, 6 min, walk to the Benning Road Metro (blue & silver lines). Only a stone’s throw away from the Nation’s Capital, H Street Corridor, Eastern Market, easily accessible to I-295 and other great attractions. Whether you are visiting or coming to explore the city, this Airbnb provides you with your own sanctuary amongst the hustle, bustle, and sounds of a major city. An off street parking space is included with the stay! The space The building is located in the historic Fort Dupont urban community. Located in southeast DC, east of the Anacostia River, it is primarily a residential neighborhood. It is close to Historic H Street Corridor, Capital Hill, and Eastern Market each great for entertainment, food and drinks.
This Airbnb is located in Unit 2 on the first floor of a four unit building. The building does house other tenants who are all friendly and kind, but do share the common entry space. The front door of the building is secured with a digital lock, in which the code will be given once the place is booked. The apartment unit also has a separate digital lock, whose code will also be provided upon booking. Guests will have full access of the entire apartment space with the exception of the hallway closets where cleaning and additional supplies are held.
You will have access to the entire apartment. Upon entering the apartment, you walk into the living room. Feel free to relax on either couch and pick-up where you left off on your favorite shows once you sign-into or cast your favorite streaming services with the Roku+ provided. The desk located off the living room which makes for a comfortable workspace while still allowing movement in the space to flow. The first of two bedrooms can be found just before the reaching the laundry area. Please enjoy both queen bed and memory foam mattress while soaking up the soothing energy of the green accent wall! Also, the treasure chest offers extra blankets and linens in case you need to warm up. Feel free to use the washer and dryer located within the unit.
If you are a smoker, please be sure to step outside , preferably in the back of the building. The use of cannabis has been decriminalized in DC. Guest access Getting around is convenient and easy whether you are driving or without a vehicle. The Benning Road Metro stop is just a short 6 min walk away, along with multiple DC Metrobus stops. East Capital Street and several major highways (I-295, US-50, and I-495). And only a 10-15 min drive to Historic H Street Corridor, Capital Hill, and Eastern Market each great for food, drinks and nightlife.
Street parking is available, but guest will also have access to park off-street in the rear private parking lot. To access the rear parking lot, you must use the alley way. I do not control access to the entire alley way and other neighbors do use it. The apartment allows for one car to be parked in the rear of the building, in the parking lot. THE HOST MUST BE NOTIFIED OF CARS PARKED DURING THE STAY. The rear parking area is super well lit with a high output LED light. There is also a camera constantly monitoring activity. Other things to note Please enjoy your time in this modern space and feel free to contact me if you need anything or any issues occur. Upon booking, I will provide the code to the front door. Also, I will confirm with you a easy to remember access code to get into Airbnb/individual unit's door.
