The location is perfect, within walking distance to King Street, Market Square, the waterfront, restaurants, and shops. The free trolley makes getting to the King St. metro really easy.There’s a CVS just a few minutes’ walk for essentials. For bigger grocery trips, you’ll need to drive to the north or south end of Old Town for stores like Harris Teeter, Trader Joe’s, or Whole Foods. They’re all close and easy to get to, just not walkable in a practical sense.As the listing noted, the parking spot in the back is tight so best for compact cars. Street parking has time limits and there's a paid lot about block or so down the street. We fit our Ford Explorer in the provided space, but tried not to move it unless absolutely necessary. Not a huge issue for us, but it’s something to keep in mind for larger vehicles.The house was very comfortable and had everything our family of five (two adults, three teens) needed. Communication was clear and check-in/check-out were easy. Desiree was courteous and quick to respond whenever we had questions or needed anything during out stay.Highly recommend!
