Museum trip with kids
It was a great space to stay in for a trip to the museums. The neighborhood felt safe and had lots of walking food options that are celiacs friendly. Unfortunately it rained the entire time we were there and I and my daughter ended up getting the flu bad and we saw next to nothing! I will say, after being sick as a dog in a space that is not mine, it could have been waaaay worse. The king bed is so very comfortable! I was very grateful for the laundry as it helped our situation a lot. Will definitely look to stay again when we give this trip a redo. I hope I checked out ok. I and my daughter were very sick and feverish when we left , it was unusually overwhelming. Not the fault of the owners at all. They have a great spot.

Short trip for work
I needed a place to stay for work for 2 nights, hotels in the area are so $$$$ and the parking cost s fortune! This space was perfect. Nice neighborhood with people walking dogs, parking (with a temporary pass) was not a problem at all. My ONLY thought about this property is the front door- it’s transparent and when you sit on the couch you feel like you can be seen which felt weird for me (yes you are below ground but that was uncomfortable for me being alone in an unknown city). Yes there are little footsteps upstairs but it is VERY limited and honestly I found it comforting. One last thing……. The bed and pillows were so so so awesome I want to sleep there again! Thanks

Lovely family trip
We enjoyed a lovely trip, the property was a great home-base as we explored the sites of DC and had meetings with our legislators. Lovely location, easy to walk to restaurants and access transportation. The pull-out couch with curtain provided privacy for our adult son as we would wake up earlier than him. The kitchen was well equipped, we made breakfast every morning and did some light cooking one evening. Our host was quick to respond to questions as well as provide recommendations which were helpful in planning our stay. If we have the opportunity for another visit, we would stay here again. Thank you!

Awesome place !
This is a great little place in a cool part of DC! We stayed for 3 nights with three teens, and we felt it was perfect ! Clean, really really comfortable, and the neighborhood was nice with a fantastic pizza place within walking distance. Parking was hit or miss, but overall not terrible. Subway could have been a little closer , but not terrible. We mostly ubered to the museums , which was around 18-$22. Not bad. I would def come back and would definitely recommend

Hideaway in the city
There is a lot to like about this getaway in the heart of Washington D.C. First, it's important to note that the property is just as described and the pictures represent the space well. We started the visit with 4 adults, before our daughter returned to college after the first weekend. I think the space was a little cramped for 4, but was perfect for the three of us. We generally made breakfast in the house, and there was a good set of provisions for cooking. That is you would definitely be able to make complete meals. The neighborhood is great. We stopped and talked to a few people walking dogs or kids. It was very nice, and had really great restaurants right around the corner. Make sure to get reservations for the Red Hen and check out Etabli for wine and light tapas-style small plates. We also did a lot of walking, including down to the Smithsonian museums. It was a bit of a walk, but easy to find our way. Overall, we really loved our week spent at this property, and would definitely return if we were back in the DC area.

Sehr schönes Appartment in zauberhafter Lage
